broo, How do you fix the black backgrounds on some of your assets? They only look like this in cycle mode, And if there is no way to fix this, is there any way to make these black backgrounds not appear?
Hello if you are talking about the black artifacts then just set the transparency samples to 20+ in light paths section

Hi! Is there a way to bake the fx? Sometimes when rendering it doesnt match the render and viewport. Meaning the generated mesh wont appear on final render.
@@paulbarcos Hello you just need to select the fx obj >physics properties >bake ,also you need to save the project to enable the bake button
@@LegendGodAAA thanks, I got it baked and retain the mesh when rendering, but sometimes will crash due to ERROR ACCESS VIOLATION. Disabling or deleting your fx doesnt crash the render.
@@paulbarcos it sometimes crashes when the fx is quite heavy, I recommend deleting the bake and rebake again always before rendering and using render layers This should fix 75% of crashes, for 100% you just need more ram I am working a lot on efficiency of the Assets in the next update tho blender is quite inefficient in handling the bake data unlike houdini and no idea about the error please do share some details if it keeps showing
Wait is the controls for the falling leaves the same for the PSA sky atmosphere? 😮😮😮
That's just a side panel open for that addon, i use it a lot so forgot to close it here

That's awesome! I often spend a lot of time working on effects in Blender, and this will help speed up my workflow. I hope you'll add more effects in the future, even if it's a paid add-on. What you're doing is great!
@@code_cloud3090 That's good to hear! ,it's still v0.3 for now so you can expect atleast 4-5 times more Assets coming to this library, I will be posting some free tutorials on how to make these fx whenever I get the time too surely

@@panocam1 Hello for now there's an installation guide on my channel here: ua-cam.com/users/shortsMeR2ei9LhDA?si=g652Tol9XiFALWd_ Assets which are hard to configure are mostly covered in this video except Debris assets and there's a guide+bugfix txt file for resolving any bugs and to use the Assets properly The documentation is delayed a lot but I am thinking of posting it with the new update of Omega Particles since the whole library is revamped in the next update so sorry about that, you can ask all your doubts here or in blendermarket for now

is there a way to have a plume of smoke/dust appear when lightning strikes the ground? Right now there is debris and sparks but nothing i know to add those dust cards in

@@LegendGodAAA Another question: is it possible to add vertex group as a source for the lightning? Right now its just object and collection so i am wondering if vertex groups are feasible or its too complicated to add
@@LamhaThohir Yes that,s quite easy, You just need to add a delete geometry node after the emitter object and set the selection(inverted) to your vertex group I have made a specific asset for this purpose ,you can contact me on blendermarket to have it It's basically Atmos 2 but modified to make a thunder field kind of effect controlling specific parts where thunderbolt will strike based on vertex groups
is there a way to stylize this so i could implement it into my 3D animation which is based off of anime shaders?
@@w6rning of course you can just disable the texture by setting the texture scale to 0 in Electrical Assets for a stylized look tho I would have gone for a realistic shader for kooler results

We really need a guide on how to use each asset. Embers V2: doesnt seem to natively render in cycles, what could I be missing? Feedback: Consider using a standard engine scale. Some of these assets are HUGE compared to a mannequin out of unity or unreal, it makes compositing assets difficult, especially with particles that don't always scale nicely.
Hello i will Upload some proper guides soo n for now i am focusing on new Asset development, The Assets were made with the 2 meter tall default cube as reference you can scale every asset down by just scaling the Asset geometry and ok i will scale them down in the next Update surely for now if you have any doubts please dump them here :)
it is rendering in cycles for me please make sure you are using the latest version of blender and blend files of Omega particles

Question how do you lock the particle effect onto an model specific body part like the hands or feet etc?
Hello well almost every Asset has an emitter socket just select and separate the parts of the model in edit mode and put them as emitter or just parent some planes to the object and set them as emitter please have a look at this tutorial to get a brief explanation on how to use the Fx on an animated character: ua-cam.com/video/cvcgCopW7fk/v-deo.html

hey i purchased the addon but i am having issues composting it into my footage, could you help me out? is there a specific setting or video you could point me to? and also really love the addon!!
Thanks a lot for Purchasing the Addon :D! and i will upload many videos explaining these topics in future so stay tuned for now i can say : There are two methods either to just render them along with the scene or for Debris Fx i render the Debris first then the dust layer separately setting debris as holdout then add them together with dust layer set as screen for Transparent emissive Assets like Electricity Fx or embers, Snow, Rain ,Mist ,Magic Fx etc i generally render them with a black bg then just screen or add them all in composite The rest Assets like Leaf/Petal Rain/Curve require a normal RGBA Png render

another case that is happening is that when I remove the instance of the electrical object they bug
if you are referring to the collider objects of Electrical assets then yeah the assets using collision physics require a collider object to work properly

Thanks a lot buddy! and in Lightning bolt asset of elemental there is a start frame option and every electric asset has a start and end frame option too in timing

@@ChelkaTheMoth it's in the modifiers stack( since they are collection assets, you need to uncheck 'instance' option while importing the assets to view them) please refer to the first 8 seconds of the tutorial 0:00

when dragging Item i cant see Modifier
You need to click on add collection and disable instance please refer to the first 8 seconds of the video for guidance

Was this hard to figure out geometry node wise idk how long you been doing it but it is impressive.
Glad you liked the work :) and it's quite hard at first i would say Cartesian cramel video's helped a lot in making these and it took less than a month to make and over an year to understand the concepts

@@LegendGodAAA is it hard to make a secondary point in geometry nodes to make it follow that end point or is it quite easy once you understand it. i just kinda learnt how to make object vanish. idk if you know any good tutorials for it.
@@HemisphereCinema Hello you just need the location of the point then just select the laser curve endpoint and set pos i will add this small feature in Laser Assets of next update too (controlling endpoints with custom empties)

Do you have any seperate footage of the laser i am kinda curious how it works if it has like a targeting mode or something. its like something ive been looking for but no wear to be found but otherwise i am thinking of getting this pack.

I recently got the electricity pack and its quite fun to play around with. but i will prob get the other fx pack next month. I have also been kinda looking for missile targeting with geometry nodes it would fit Halo or Half life stuff alot for me , but i know youre package is more samurai / asian oirentated.
@@HemisphereCinema Hello the missile or gunfire system will be added in the next Updates probable by the end of this month and this pack doesn't have a fixed genre it's just that i couldn't find these Assets online so i made them myself i am open to any Particle FX suggestion to be added in next Update :)
@@LegendGodAAA ah sounds sweet if you need any types of examples look up half life 2/halo3 rockets/rpg firing that's the theme I kinda want. if possible ofc. 😅 because been looking for something with rocket tracing that isn't a path line.

There are more Speed ,Animation type(Fade/Trim start end) ,Impact Sparks ,Impact Debris The new Electric Fx Bundle will have them all coming in next Update
