What is the string size that should be used ?
18 gauge nylon cord is my favorite. I purchase mine from here: www.micro-macramejewelry.com/Supplies/S_Lon.html
@@Peaceknots thank you 😁 I always wanted to learn macrame. I can't wait to try 😍
@@ornellakhoury9226 I wish you the best in your journey! It’s so much fun! 😊
Thanks for that guide to the different types of cord.

Sooo helpful!!!!

So cute! ...and rotten haha.I have a kitty that has be around and touch everything I'm doing.
Same here! She has to be wherever I’m at but I don’t mind 💕
Need help please! I keep macrameing a bracelet for my grand daughter out of cotton waxed cord. When I finish it with a slip macrameing closure it is breaking the main cords of the bracelet. Could you please tell me what is happening? I am new to macrameing. I watch your videos which I love. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 😊
Hi April!! Maybe the slip knot is too tight or when you burn the edges of the slip knot they are creating a rough texture that pulls on the cotton. My favorite thread is nylon from www.micro-macramejewelry.com
Thank you for your tutorial. I love macrame and your instructions are on point. Only suggestion is that the board with printed text makes it a little hard to see the bracelet design. I will definitely try this. Thanks👍❤️
Thank you so much for the feedback 🙏🏻 I appreciate your support ☺️
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I noticed your magnifying lamps in the background. My eyes are old and I need one. There are so many on the market. Which one do you suggest? Thank you!
Thank you Alyssa! My apologies, someone handed down the lamp & I gave it away shortly after. I just didn’t need it so I didn’t even pay attention to the brand.
@@Peaceknots Thank you. I’m enjoying your macrame videos. You’re a great teacher.
@@alyssacerkleski1175 you are too kind 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I need to get back to making videos but life keeps getting in the way lol
Very nice, will try. Thanks for your tutorial ❤
Thank you for watching 🌸🙏🏻🌟
which of these chord options give the best fringe option for dangle earrings? Thanks for the info, btw?
Hi Karrie ! I would say the nylon cord from www.micro-macramejewelry.com. I love this cord b/c it’s so small that delica beads fit perfect. It’s lightweight & you can burn the edges for clean finish.
I would love a google drive template tutorial!
Thank you so much for your video very informative. I wish somebody would have told me about all these before I started the 12 macrame. About a lot of different cord that I didn't need thank you very much
Love the wall hanging over the bed. Nice!
Thanks for the video. I love putting a face to the voice! Thank you!
Thank you so much Kim! 💕
Please continue to do your videos. Thank you for explaining your videos so clearly. Keep up the good work.

Yay! Thank you for your kind feedback!

I want to learn how to make a template, but I'm computer illiterate 😐 😕
Hi Wendy! Check out Travel Jewell on UA-cam for an amazing tutorial on her Procreate beaded jewelry templates. ua-cam.com/video/DM0eYIBtAnU/v-deo.html
Hello! First of all, great help!!! It´s very hard to find the best cord and suplier. I´m portuguese and didn´t know the portuguese shop you mentioned! Will definitly check them. Which leads me to a question, the last cord is it Linhasita? I find very hard to hold the knots with the malka threads and the nylon ones. Also, the pieces don`t get a shape. They tend to fold if you know what I mean. Is there any trick you can share besides hold very firmly the knot?
Hi Andreia! Thank you, I’m so glad the video was helpful. I think I know what you mean about the shape and I’ll try to make a video with tricks and tips. The key to successful macrame is tight knots so I’ll go over that in the video as well. Thank you for the video idea!
Looks lovely
Thank you Jo ☺️
Thank you so very much for this wonderful tutorial!! Thanks to you, me as a total beginner now understands how it works, yipieh☺! I was able to follow your instructions very easily. ❤

Wow. You do this entirely different. I've never seen anyone work from the top down.
Maybe one day I’ll have to do a tutorial from bottom up!
When you do the square knots your hand are just below the camera. I can't see what you're doing! You have a lot Of space on the top but your hands are hidden!!!!

@@Peaceknots Happy Holidays!!❤
Your video is wonderfully instructive, very helpful for beginners and I applaud you for sharing. With all due respect, however, your nails are unappealing because there is gunk under under them which is magnified in the video. Your hands and nails are the stars of your show - please get a manicure before you record another video.
🤣🤪🤣
what thread do you use?
For my beaded earrings I use a combination of Fireline 6lb cord with Nymo D cord. For my macrame bracelets I use nylon cord called S-Lon or waxed polyester cord. All of these are available at most bead stores. Check out my video called Macrame Cord 101 for links and such. Cheers!
I love your designs ♡
Thank you so much 🙏✌🏻🌸
Hi! Thank you for your great tutorial. What was this type of waxed cord you were trying out in this one or where to purchase? I don’t see it in the comments as you mentioned. I looked at @Malka Jewelry and couldn’t find info either.
Hi Beth! Thank you for your kind feedback. My two favorite cords for macrame jewelry are nylon cord, check out micro-macramejewelry.com. Waxed polyester from Linhasita (you can Google this and find it anywhere) or from Malka Jewelry (type this into Etsy and find their page). Wish you all the best!
