Is there ANY longitudinal multi decade research on how Methadone & Opiate Agonist substances affect humans? Is there proven organ damage? Is there neuronal damage at the receptor, in the way the receptors function, with acute withdrawal if agonist opiates can there be a return to baseline (non opiate influenced state) or biorhythm circadian rhythm after decades of agonist use? Is there any purpose to stopping opiates after 20-30 years of daily high functioning use?

The point Kastrup raised in that interview-that encountering something overwhelmingly beautiful or immense can be both awe-inspiring and terrifying-stems from the limits of our ego. The ego is accustomed to categorizing and limiting everything, so when faced with something that exceeds those boundaries, it can feel intense or even frightening. However, this does not mean that the experience is inherently negative or hellish. Instead, it is the ego's resistance to letting go and surrendering fully to the vastness of consciousness that creates that fear. If we consider this experience within the framework of analytic idealism, we can see that what may be perceived as "hellish" is more a result of clinging to the ego and fearing the unknown, rather than an intrinsically negative reality. The "terrible beauty" Kastrup refers to might be due to our limited consciousness struggling to grasp the full scope of reality, especially when confronted with something that transcends the ego. In a positive interpretation of analytic idealism, once the ego is fully dissolved and resistance is released, the experience would no longer be perceived as "terrible" or overwhelming. Instead, it could be experienced as something entirely harmonious and loving, because the ego-which projects those negative emotions-would no longer be there to generate that resistance. What remains is the underlying unity and loving nature of consciousness itself. In short, the fear of a "hellish" experience may come from our current limited perspective, which is tied to the ego. Once the ego is let go, "hell" could transform into a profound, loving experience of unity and beauty that completely transcends us. From this perspective, death is not a threat but a return to a state of pure consciousness and love, where any experiences of fear or resistance are ultimately transformed into something much deeper and peaceful.

The higher age perspective was that the human had its own unique prototype; fourteen versions in a universal cycle. With the 19th century Darwinism theory taking hold that was forgotten which leaves many unanswered questions. Now the newest atheistic ideology is trans humanism. It is important to know what the human is; that consciousness is fundamental and that mind is elemental emerging with quantum events. That consciousness has a purpose in knowing itself fully. The purpose of being human to a uniquely human prototype. In a consciously more enlightened time the human was seen as the microcosm of the macrocosm; a miniature universe; the equivalent of a transistor radio to a boom box. Now seen as not even having its own prototype it is ripe for all sorts of atheistic ideologies and interference; we thought communism was bad enough; the proposed trans humanism (the brain embedded with technology) is much worse. Religion was a bulwark against the dark occult before the Age of Reason, it will be a bulwark against trans humanism or whatever other atheistic idiocy raises its ugly head.

In fact all drugs shouldn’t incur legal retaliation for simple possession, use, distribution! To make molecules illegal was foolish.

Let me respond to several comments in all one fell swoop. There seems to be a lot of misinformation and misunderstanding, or at least the assertions are less certain than presented. Three different people wrote: 1) "Are we really getting shorter or has millions of short hispanics coming in for decades lowered the national average?" 2) "They’ve lowered our mean IQ as well" 3) "not to mention obesity levels and criminal tendencies" Are these claims true? I'd contest that some of them are clearly false, and it's often easily confirmed by looking at the available data, but other aspects are more complex. Immigrants to the U.S. come from all over the world. They represent a great diversity. Some are poorer than Americans, but many others are above the American average. The latter is because of the brain drain of people escaping countries with problems or less opportunities. I'm not sure about average height of immigrants or the variance in height among different immigrant groups. But I do know that, on average, immigrants have higher IQ, higher education attainment, and lower crime rate than the average American. That is an indicator of healthy brain development from a nutritious diet, less toxicity exposure, etc; but it also shows what Weston A. Price called 'moral health' (i.e., pro-social behavior). That tends to go hand in hand with greater physical development in general, including height. Although being tall is not necessarily a sign of health. Sally Fallon Morrell writes: "High protein, lowfat diets in children induce rapid growth along with depletion of vitamin A supplies. The results -tall, myopic, lanky individuals with crowded teeth, and poor bone structure -are a fixture in America." She calls it the Ichabod Crane syndrome. The excess and imbalanced growth of younger generations of Americans actually can be a further sign of sickliness, as it's extremely imbalanced. Though we modern Westerners have caught up with the height of Paleolithic humans, our bone structure remains thin, stunted, and malformed; as Weston A. Price noted a century ago (and it's probably worse now). We Americans don't need immigrants to suppress our overall measures of health. In many ways, a constant influx of immigrants helps moderate the worst indicators of sickliness in the U.S. population, as a larger part of these immigrants were raised on traditional diets. Plus, there being a self-selected group is significant, as it's the most healthy and wealthy who are in the best position to be able to immigrate at all, with the worst off left behind. It does no one any benefit to scapegoat immigrants for our own failures as a society. But such attitudes are predictable. Studies show that xenophobia, as an expression of socio-political conservatism and right-wing authoritarianism, increases with a stressed or sickly population (regality theory, mean world syndrome, parasite-stress theory, behavioral immune system, etc). This is why regions with higher rates of parasite load have higher rates of collectivism and lower rates of the liberal-minded trait of 'openness to experience' (Southeast Asia, American Deep South, etc). High inequality combined with segregation also contributes to xenophobia and worse 'moral health'. This is why public health is so important. We are affected not only by our own health but also by the health of others, in shaping the entire society.

In old times the kids cared for old, now they wisely pick fight and demonize parent for small failures so escape this debt... Only the Muslims and Mormons know to avoid all this, don't become modern, and will take over world literally...... We could give a parent $40000 a year to cover the work, out of future tax SS and payroll and income taxes, but the childless half won't agree. We are Fd, unless we turn backward muslim and yes repress women.. we ain't evolved for more than huts in jungle village of 200 and hunting pigs and berries and having kids to avoid boredom and keeping kids naked on vine rope till age 5, no UA-cam there.... Fun times, funny leftist green idiots .. fun, thanks, so fun

For a man to have kids, he has to expect child support and poverty, while not being allowed to properly raise his children, for most his life. It's financial suicide. The system will have to change before we create families again.
