A matchup between Tewaaraton Finalist attackman Connor Cannizzaro and All-Pro defensemen Tucker Durkin. Durkin uses his strength and agility to stay with a very quick Cannizzaro. However, Durkin's tendency to throw unneccesary slap checks gets him out of position several times and sends him to the box as well. But that is just who Durkin is as he is very aggressive on-ball.

From a keepers pov, having lockdown poles that give you 15 yard gumball shots 70% of the time is literally heaven sent. Props to the goalie on doing his job a lot of big time saves kept Myles confidence down this game

As stated above, Joe Fletcher does not play as physically as other world class defenders. He has the feet to match just about anyone. (However his knee injury affected his change of direction vs Curtis Dickson in the Summer of 2018.) His v-hold bug allows physical attackmen to post him up and then roll to the opposite side. However, don't let that distract you from the fact that he excels in disrupting passing lanes, excels in ground balls, and has great feet!
This game is a perfect example of y the 80 second shot clock was created.

I mean, the video is mainly about his defensive matchup so...
This video would be much better if you were to narrate instead of use annotations. The annotations make watching the video a chore due to watching, pausing, reading, and then rewinding to see it again with your comment in mind. Overall though, good quality video and insight.
I never got how Fletcher was considered the best defender in college for any time. Think he has bad form and relies on v-holds at ill-advised times
I understand, but Joe is still one of the best poles in the world. He has great feet and a great stick. However, he is not very physical, which makes more physical attackmen a tougher matchup for him.
