I don't know of any restriction. You would just need to use different ports for any server you run at the same time.

@@GameServerHelp Thank you. I was able to set up multiple servers when I assigned ports 27015/27016 to one server and 27017/27018 to the other.

it usually depends on the game, some games go to "sleep" and some do not. Icarus, I thought went to sleep when everyone was offline.

@@GameServerHelp Im not sure, I guess Ill just have to see. I know the timeout setting for default of 300 seconds the server stops. I figured out how to use a Discord bot through GSM to let my friends just start it up when they need to so it should be fine. Now to just figure out how to do it on Linux so I can put my Steam Deck to some actual use lol

You will have to do some testing, I always use 2 different internet connections to verify people can connect from outside the network. they may or may not be able to.

@GameServerHelp Yes, with the standard map it works normally, but when I try to put a premium map it doesn't turn on, it focuses on infinite booting

I haven't played the game. I bought it at launch and played for a short time (about 10 hours),I enjoyed it and I will wait for 1.0 full release. I do this with most games.

@@GameServerHelp Definitely a good game! I almost never play a good game for more than a couple hours myself in alpha or early access. BG III really teaches this the hard way by making you start over. I wonder what Keen will do when the next patch pops.

did you do a port test? there is a video, on how to test your ports.

create a dedicated server on a seperate pc, and move the save files to the correct file location on the new server. the cool thing is you can do this and get it working correctly while still playing the old way.

Sorry, I don't know if it has cross play or not. If you can cross play on a paid service, than it should be available. a server is a server.

generally this is a port forwarding problem, did you check your ports with the port forwarding tool? there is a video on it as well.

I had this issue until I unselected "Server IP" - haven't tested this with others yet, but I'm at least able to connect from my own network.

it is a fairly limited tool however under most circumstances I find it a ton better than batch files.

Glad you got your server up and running, I think it is aways best to open a range of ports myself, just to help with situations like this.

It is easier to help if you can join the discord. I have not seen a plugin fail before, are you using windows OS (not windows server xx) also if this is your first install of everything i would restart the computer and recheck everything.

I check the comments, but for some reason youtube is lousy at letting me know there is one. Did you open the ports? I try to help on Discord, if you are able to join.

I have never seen any do this, and the great part is you can test any server with it and its super small download/quick install.

I don't have nitro, but as long as they give you access to the save files, would simply need to copy all save files from the existing server to the new server.

Than you still don't have something configured correctly, probably ports, join the discord for help. linked on front page of youtube and website.

There are too many random little things that cause problems or prevent being able to run a server that is for sure.

I had the same problem. after a few days of trying various things I was able to realize that this was the problem. I was able to solve the problem by getting StaticIP service from my internet service provider.
