Baller is for groups but has lower single target dps as of now (when demo 3 comes out a baller build can be nearly as viable as sword) Sword is better for single target (and its better for exp grinding rn)

In any game where you can build a character, I automatically go for pure damage, no need for defence and stuff if you kill them before they get the chance to attack

There is a cannonball card which costs 2 BP and allows the ball to hit spiky or aflame enemies.

Sword con: only able to fight in front of you, unless you use sword toss which costs sp

I dont think you should really count baller or knight as "classes"; if you go to the job office in bizville, an npc will say that you should come back when jobs are added Considering what a "job" is in a few other rpgs (miitopia, yakuza: like a dragon, TECHNICALLY Dragon's Dogma but they use the word "vocation" instead) we could be getting an actual class system that does more than just disabling your sword/ball slot

use cannonball with baller.

Softener makes baller worth it for me. Sure I’ll need 2 sp, but lowering enemies defense by 2 is pretty good, especially when I’m playing with a team.

Pros and cons: Baller pros: -Perfect for support builds -Has alot of variety -Can hit flying enemies -Can target multiple enemies with Linebounce -Solid damage when used right -Can hit any enemy Baller cons: -Uses much more bp than Knight -Cannot hit spiky enemies without cannonball -Bad for enemies with defense -Sp reliant -Cards take time to access Knight pros: -High damage -Has an upgrade -Simple yet decent moveset -Low bp cost -Less sp and bp reliant allowing for more tanky builds -Pierces defense -Cards are easy to access Knight cons: -Low variety -Iron sword locked till chapter 2 -Cannot hit flying enemies without sword toss (Though relatively easy to obtain) -Cannot hit multiple enemies despite high damage allowing enemies to attack

Now that the cannonball card is out and spiked enemies aren't an issue for ballers, baller does seem like the stronger offensive playstyle.

Just use Cannon Ball for Baller, but you did make this vid in Chapter 1. I like to use a Hybrid build.
