    What type of mix did you make? Can you assist with that? I have had several failures in the past. Also how many seeds per square? Thank you in advance!

      Hi! The mix used in the video is Coast of Maine "Sprout Island Blend" seeding mix, but there are a lot of different seeding mixes out there. Just make sure that it is labeled "seeding mix." We don't mix our own because it's much easier to purchase a good organic seeding mix that is guaranteed to work, and it's fairly inexpensive as well. You can sow 3-4 seeds per pod, but just be sure to thin to one plant per pod once the seedlings appear. Hope that helps!

    Wonderful! Thank you!! I also put a little compost at the base of each hole. I got this advice years ago from an Ace farmer, and it has always given me an awesome crop! Also, important to cover the garlic plantings with a thick layer of organic, untreated mulch for the winter. I use a thick covering of dried leaves that I rake up from the yard.
