If anyone is watching this in December 2024, Prime Video streams Little House live all day long. I have watched it at night for the past few weeks now.

im 58 and had three girls older than me so i had no choice on watching Little House started hateing it and fell in love with the show over time great times

These shows really did bring families together and they always opened a dialogue. We’d gather and watch Little House on our little 19” family TV, which was considered big (to us). Then later we’d watch other shows, TGIF. They were all wholesome and funny and endearing! It’s odd when you realize there’s hardly a market for that anymore. Heck, I wouldn’t even consider Disney as being focused on bringing family together, the opposite in fact. Don’t get me wrong, I like some of the shows of today (Breaking Bad, SOA, Sopranos, The Wire, Prison Break, and many others). But mostly TV-and movies too!-just stink today. I watched a couple of episodes of the new show The Agency and the writing made me laugh! I couldn’t believe what a joke it was and especially with a once incredible cast. Yet Homeland had excellent writing, some of the best and last writing. Little House brings so much nostalgia and it centers me when I’m having a hard time. This is something my wife doesn’t understand… she didn’t hardly watch it growing up, so it’s just another show and she doesn’t understand the powerful effect it still has on those of us who’ve seen it many times over and will keep watching it until the end of our days.

I love watching these videos. I have seen all of the tv shows and read all of the books. It is special to me as my mother's side of the family are Wilders. And my great great great grandfather and Almonso were cousins. I so want to attend one of these and tell the actors this story. I would hope hey would find it interesting.
