    I know the feeling. I have it for more than 10yrs. I can heal others instantly to the point that they would feel deeply relaxed or even floating and their pain reduce significantly, but can't seem to heal myself.

    Myofascial pain is the most common manifestation of chronic pain. Dry needling is the most effective treatment for it. Practitioners know very little about chronic pain. See this video channel and it will confirm it

    Another brainwashed new doctor who doesn't believe in opiates for pain. They wonder why so many people have no choice but to use street opiates. They dont care as long as they are not in pain.

    I can tell this "doctor" has never been in any real significant pain for a prolonged period. If he suffered through it, he would change his tune. I have had 2 back surgeries. I get my nerves burned every 6 months with cortisone shots in between. These are extremely painful procedures. Even with those, it is difficult to deal with the pain. If it weren't for these procedures and medication, I would be bed ridden. At this point, there is NO WAY anyone can really abuse these narcotics. Where I go, you MUST been seen once a month, are subjected to random drug tests, pill counts every visit (if you have any left from the prior script, it better be correct or they will cut you off), and you sign an agreement that you will not be prescribed anything for pain from any other doctor. When I first started going, per my surgeon's referral, things were a little laxer. At this point all the "questionable" individuals have been weeded out. People that follow all the rules and take medication as prescribed are treated like drug addicts.

    Dr. Young Mchealthy, here, hasn't a clue what it's like to have severe, chronic pain. He won't understand what pain and disability is really like in his own life for decades, not that he has to in order to be a good doctor, but he lacks any compassion for his patients, he is failing to understand it in so many ways that I think that he's doing a great disservice to people in constant, unrelenting pain by saying that opiates do not have a place in the treatment of chronic pain. Patients know what works best for them and everyone has certain drugs that help them that wouldn't have the slightest effect on someone else. For him to come along then, and say what he thinks to all patients across the board, which is nonsense and meant to stop the patient from even approaching the subject of requesting the medication that these people know works for them, is so wrong and hurtful and it fails the first line of the Hypocratic Oath, which begins, "First of all, do no harm" ! This is to make it all that much easier for him. He doesn't have to deal with those nagging and demanding chronic pain patients now that he has educated us. Now he only has to say, "No, those won't help." and get on with his day.

    I found space weather to be my Fibromyalgia trigger 100% of the time. When Insay space wearher, i am takking about solar flares and other things off the sun. I confirmed this correlation because I built a shielding room (really a big box) and for the first time I was pain free. It takes 30 seocnds for a 10 flare up to go to 0. Works bette mr than anything. Using shielding box for ten years. Have friends and family whos trigger is the same, as a matter of fact I have not found even one person whos trigger is NOT space weather, including migraine.

    How many health care professionals and researchers who agree with this statement have endured true severe chronic pain and or addiction (prob thru pain treatment to start)? I’ve met one MD in 20+ yrs who does and an internist vs pain specialist. I did meet a pain mgt specialist who had all residents under him tape a sml pebble or dried pea under their foot for a week to learn empathy and a sml fraction of future patients experience.

    I have to fill you all in on some thing that helped my wife’s case amazingly well. For several years, she had it and was getting worse. The prednisone and other pharmaceutical medication‘😢s really didn’t do much and the painkillers stopped working. During a really bad painful flare we heard about NAD treatment which supposedly gets in all the mitochondria of all cells in your body and adds things that they need. After about an hour of the NAD IV she went from extreme pain to almost none. This was amazing as it was crushing both of our lives. After the first treatment we had them come out For another IV treatment 10 days later.. We were able to order some NAD itself and combine it with the sterile water for shots 50-50. And we did our next treatment at home with a diabetic needle three weeks after the second IV treatment. and every couple weeks we inject a little bit in the sub or fatty tissue on Hips or underbelly. You can Google NAD and the treatments. On her first one, they added a Myers gel, which to say vitamin compound. Her second IV they did not need to add it.

    I am 35 and was just diagnosed with this disease and I have no idea how to manage it. My whole upper body hurts like someone is pulling apart my muscles. My head starts to hurt with a migraine, the neck back shoulders ribs stomach legs all hurt like I never felt this much pain to the point I am shaking in pain and crying in bed. I can’t even wear a shirt when I am home and I just want to die with this. It seems like no one is helping me they want you to do physical therapy I cant hardly move. I wish there was a way for this to go away. But seems like it’s 24/7 non stop. I can’t even sleep. Than I have to go to work and suffer there and feel embarrassed because of the pain I can’t grip things I drop things easily I can’t lift anything heavy. It’s a total living nightmare.

  • @Dobviews

    Idiocy like this has forced me into being in bed 90% of my life, severely reduced my enjoyment of life, denied me basic relief or ability to sleep for more than short bursts out of exhaustion. Docs like you are why I stopped all care for my chronic condition to hasten my demise. Last convo with a doctor, "You need to trust me." *Trust? Don't use big words you obviously don't understand. Spending money on tanks is not in everybody’s reach, for me it’s the pain killers, or perhaps a visit to a swimming pool, which of course is a noisy place, sometimes for me the words are not enough to express the anguish of the condition ,I stand with the millions of people those who suffer from fibromyalgia, all I can say to them is look after yourself because you are your own nurse God bless.

    I have fibromyalgia.can i do strength training?

    • @TheWellnessPuzzle
      @TheWellnessPuzzle 6 місяців тому

      Absolutely. Strength/resistance training is vital for overall health and function, especially when living with a chronic pain condition like fibromyalgia. Like with any new habit, start small and build up gradually with both time spent exercising and the intensity. A good way to start if resistance training is new for you, is body weight exercises, such as squats, lunges and 1/2 push ups from a table/worktop. Hope that helps!

    Massage is comforting and takes pain away for hours. Should be covered by insurance since they took away my pain killers for seniors! Now they want you to use marijuana. I'd rather use that because the drugs they give you a for pain are horrible. I'm allergic to many drugs. I also have autoimmune disease. I don't need therapy, I need painkillers. I'm 72 and too tired for exercising with all this pain. Young people have no idea what old people are going through. They Push for exercise all the time. And it does not work for everyone, especially senior citizens! MCT 25.1 CBD works for pain.
