I had an aboriginal mate tell me he saw a bunyip about 20 years ago around the Gosford area somewhere in the sticks. Wouldn’t say where exactly and was a bit reluctant to even talk about it due to his tribes sacred knowledge and the taboo nature of the subject. He said he saw it just around morning smoko time near a swamp as he was out working in the scrub. Native Ranger. He said he hard a real hard time figuring out what it was because it was like a mix of animals jumbled together. Like a large bird, roo and croc cross looking thing about the size of a horse. They saw each other for about 20 seconds and then both bolted opposite directions quick smart. Scared the crap out of him and he took off home. He asked an elder later what he saw and was told it was a bunyip. Decent bloke, quiet, been a ranger for about 40 years and knows his stuff. He told me because I had related my story of a bloody big native cat/ lion thing? that I almost run into one night on a dirt road out in the bush on my way home from work. Didn’t see the head but its back was as tall as the front of my old Hilux. I did not get of the Ute.

I feel so sad for your great grandmother (if that's correct) she must have been devastated having to give up her baby 😢, family history is always fun, when my Dad was about 8yrs old his grandfather received a MBE from The Queen, anyway long story short after entertaining the Queen and Prince Philip the Royal train departed the station and it wasn't even out of sight and my great grandmother had a heart attack and dropped dead 😮😂

I cant remember the exact sight but i was looking at RAAF data of all documented Unidentified Flying Objects. There was a account from 1901 of a place i cant remember exactly where but it was somewhere in NSW where a craft explained as metallic looking like two plates placed together landed in a field near a farmhouse where they witnessed multiple small beings come out of the craft and walk around. No bulldusrt its out there somewhere. That made me realise that this has been going on for a long time perhaps thousands of years and must be true that these things exist for the account i read was way before 1947 and the witness explained the textbook description as so many more witnesses have. Amazing stuff. 👍

Gday my names Paul & welcome to where’s my giant trees.. unfortunately most of them are long gone destroyed by the machinations of 🎉settlement before the turn of the century with very very few now left. But not a lot of people know the mountain forests of SE Aust were once home to the largest giant timber forest on the planet outside the Pacific NW of NthUSA.. but the destruction has been so phenomenal that all traces are gone & they won’t be returning.. I have spent decades researching & hunting our lost giant Eucalypts in the most inaccessible valleys using the latest technology & equipment I can afford & literally spent so much time trekking into the most recessed & untouched areas of our mountain ranges in this quest. Good finds are very hard fought & hard to come by with destruction at the hands of bushfire & high winds so common place. These trees are the largest living things on the face of the earth .. but in all my remote hunting I’ve never encountered a yowie or cryptid tho I do fully believe in them all…
