Mozart's last piano sonata : what a marvel ! And a wonderful playing by Susanna Braun at that ! Eunice Norton talked in her series about Artur Schnabel's teaching of this sonata , which has some awkward passages to play , how Scnabel insisted on the right accents at the right places : well , once again , Susanna Braun well done ! :)

I practiced this one and never got it right. Next lifetime I want a big hand your size to perfect it.
Don‘t give up! Get a good teacher who shows you how to do it right.. it’s not about the hand size. It’s about moving on to the next note quickly with the whole hand and not sticking with the fingers at the notes before.
There is a really good tutorial by Denis zdhanov on this piece… check this out! It helps so much with technique

Currently my time and attention goes to my almost 91 year old wife. If I had to choose the most exciting piece this would be it. How about playing it in all keys?
@@pennyjane9906 This Is strange. I thought about having a teacher the other day. I started with a beginner's adult adult book at age 20 and only had a teacher for 2 years. I got some tips from accomplished musicians when I tuned their pianos, to use arm pressure to equalize the length and strength of the notes. I practiced an average of 8 hours per day for 14 years and had 12 Chopin etudes memorized. My best one was number 12 op 10 that is on my site. That is just poor to fair. I also played it on a concert Steinway that impressed me, but I foolishly deleted it because of a silly spiritual trip that said we have to give up everything to become enlightened. Best wishes.
@@loving-everyone-equally oh, I can tell you are really sweet. I am married too and hope that my husband and I get to grow old together. That would be just wonderful.. I had piano lessons since the age of 7, unfortunately my teacher was not a good piano player at all and had no idea about technique. She was basically teaching me to have loose fingers and a strained wrist. At age 18 I had two years of piano lessons by a real professional pianist and passionate teacher. I wished she would have teached me earlier.. this would have made such a difference. She helped me improve so much. Then I stopped playing the piano for 10 years (I would say that I regret that, .. but the way my life unfolded, I understand why I didn't do it) But I recently began practicing again. Sometimes people give up on pieces, because unfortunately they just don't find the right way to improve... experimenting with hand positions helps a lot. It has to feel comfortable and stable. A professional pianist can help with understanding how to move correctly.

A truly great piece , this last Prelude and Fugue from the 20th century-s " Well tempered Clavier " . What a joy to hear Susanna Braun play it ! Ond gets goose bumps af the moment in the prelude where , pp , the fugue theme first appears : a Mahler moment ! Thank you Susanna !
