I bought an old Alesis Nitro kit, with the rubber pads, the cymbals are the same. It was a wreck so I go it very cheap. I sold the old rubber pads and kept the rest. I'm possibly going to use the rack to extend this kit and add 2 more toms and 2 more cymbals.

@@sounakdc Any music shop that sells Alesis drums will be able to oder the cymbals for you. But it's much cheaper to buy them used, even if you have to buy a whole kit, you can sell the module and whatever else you don't need.

@@IansDrumsandBass Figured! I just ordered a second expansion kit for the second cymbal, a shame we can't split like Nitro Mesh. Will have 2 toms iddling, hope I can sell them.

Hi thanks! 😊 I used the extra crash and Tom 4 inputs at the back of the module. I'm going to buy a 2nd floor tom pad and add that too, using a cable splitter in the floor tom.

Thanks very much! The bass drum tower is deff softer than my Roland TD11KV's one. The pads are about the same. The cymbals are always the biggest culprits when it comes to noise, coz they're much harder than the mesh pads. You can buy rubber tips that fit over the end of your sticks to further reduce the noise. I also live in an apartment and I've had no problems, but I had a complaint when I was using a kit with rubber pads. Hope that helps!

I used a user kit that I made up.

Snare voice number 58, vol 18, pit 001, Rev 006. Tom 1 number 146, vol 011, Rev 006 Tom 2 147, vol 011, Rev 006. Tom 3 148, vol 014, Rev 006. Kick 001.vol 029,rev 006. Hihat number 277, vol 030, rev 006. Crash number 268, vol 012, pitch - 5, rev 004. Crash 260 is also good but less sustain. Ride 251, vol 030, pitch 002, rev 004. The pan I basically left as is on most - if you need more volume from say the Hihat or the ride, you can pan them center. Then on the kit settings I used EQH 005. It might be a bit too crisp for you, if so take it down to 003, depending on your headphones. Kit vol 028, you can set this to what you like.

Tks! Yes, it's a great kit, you just need to build your own sets, plenty of usable sounds in the module.

@@heaven_made Pleasure. The Hihat has 3 different sounds, you can choose your own, I use 277 for the open sound and 302 for the closed sound. You can choose the half open sound you want.

@@NK01011 I don't know why theirs came loose, mine is fine, hadn't moved an inch. I just made sure the crosspiece was in correctly and tightened it up. After a few days I re - tightened all the screws as the T brackets are plastic and have some "give" in them. After 2 weeks I checked them again. My snare is 100%. One guy said he folded up some paper around the snare crosspiece and after that no probs. But I suspect these guys didn't put the snare crosspiece in all the way, hence it coming out.
