All my covers are my own work and I don't steal other people's arrangements. I listened to the link you posted. It's a great cover and has similarities to mine because we both listened to the original and tried to copy the orchestral parts. If you listen properly, you'll notice 100's of differences, not to mention I covered the version with an extended ending which is something like 30 seconds longer.

Hi Steve, thanks for the feedback. It's true - I sometimes (probably usually) focus too much on making it epic and a challenge for myself that I'm unable to play it as smooth as I'd like and it loses some musicality. Appreciate the comment

I have a male cockatiel, I raised him by handfeeding and he spends so much time on my shoulders so he sometimes tries to imitate the music I mumble. So here I am looking for a rocky theme for him 😂

@@MattCraigPiano Have to apologise as I was quite stressed that day (had x2 Four hour sessions on the piano funnily enough, but I don't think the overture resolves correctly after 01:40. I didn't think that it could just be an interpretation of it to be fair, and listening back to it, I enjoy it how you've presented it. I suspect that day I was expecting the latter half to represent 'going home' more than what's been put in for the End Credits. Apologies if I caused any upset or offence :)

@treguard1982 no problem! I always appreciate feedback and sometimes I get chords wrong as I do this by ear most of the time. Yes, the overture gets very strange around the 1:40 so I just ended it and transitioned into the end credits, which themselves don't really end with a climax so I threw in the last few bars that play before the end credits start to end the piece

@@MattCraigPiano I know what you mean. It's honestly a good arrangement :) I'd been toying with the idea of taking somethign from the Total Recall score, but that wouldn't seem to work very well for piano in most parts.....nothing to do with the fact that I don't fancy trying to count several time signature changes within a few bars.... 4/4 - 3/8 - 5/8 - 7/4 lol
