🎹 Waiting On An Angel 🎤
The first time I heard this Ben Harper song I was moved entirely, but it wasn’t the original I heard - it was my Kieron Monahan singing alongside a string quartet to my cousin Nicky Monahan at their wedding in England, many years ago.
I always found it to be a beautiful song, and extremely fitting for their wedding - but it never left my mind. In fact I was so in awe at their wedding, I remember looking at Kieron going “I want to be exactly like you when I grow up”… years later, we get the chance to work together, and I owe my start in marketing and advertising to being inspired by him, his career, and the way he expressed his love for his wife.
This one’s for you Kieron.
