The Long war mods has ruined base Xcom for me. it is a much harder experience that just kicks you in the gnards and keeps kicking you until you muster the will to get up. at that point it gets way more engaging and more fun. Base Xcom compared to Long war, is such a freaking breeze. after having completed a Long war on Commander, i for the fun of it tried out base xcom 2 on legendary. And it was just so much easier, like i had evolved my game knowledge and tactics so much from that one campaign that everythign else just seemed like childs play.

Xcom 2's music is more Heroic, guess to fit with being humanitys last heroes. While Enemy within is more dreadful, like a desperate struggle against a monstrous enemy.

That ending had me LMAO

You don't need scientist - they just little speed up research - it's very minor impact - at the end of the game you be limited only by the number of weapon fragments. And Exalt dosn't help aliens - they use alien tech like xcom.

Still fully holds up. An absolute must-play for anyone even remotely interested in sci fi stories and/or strategy games.

Stumbled into your AI Wars 2 video (constant internal debate if I buy it each time it's on sale) and thought it was well done, so I checked out this one. Just watched the XCOM2 you made and both of these are absolutely lovley

at least in xcom enemy you can slowly crawl against the AI...in xcom 2 is flat out retarded and ridiculos how much u miss and lose soldiers ...

The only flaw with this game is graphics. Lithtech engine was a bit downgraded compared to other engines at the time so this game feels like a 98/99 game instead of 2001/2002. The use of the lights of AVP 1 was better. BTW this game is the best of the series.

I find the making of this game hilarious because this isn't what the lead dev wanted to make according to the interviews and XCOM:Chimera Squad and Midnight Suns.

I did have to turn off the music completly when you listening to it all the time it became disturbing and annoying.😁

Dragon age origins is very underrated. First of all combat in DA 2 is best in sieries. Story is emotionally.

I play xcom enemy unknown on xbox360 unfortunately many of the customisation and other features seem to be unavailable for me because dlc :(

Slave Zero is an arcade shooter done right: Just you. A fabagillion enemies, and a shit ton of weapons to kill said enemies with. Combined with the anime aesthetic and feeling of being a mech, and you have a blast to play.

Wonder why this remastered version has never been released to consoles?

Do you think youll review the Reforged version thats just come out. I really like it its way better than the Directors Cut
