Shouldn't you first wash your mug properly?
Not at all! It simply adds to the flavor! 😂
It's clean, it's just a tea stain from repeated use over many years. They don't just come out with soap and water sadly.

@@deantaylor7983 They don't, I was referring to when it's washed each time. Over time, the glaze starts to wear off and cracks start to appear, and that's where you'll usually find the stains. If you feel along the stain, you'll usually feel it's worn down compared to the rest of the cup, and it'll usually be at the sides rather than the bottom. An uncleaned mug stains on the bottom first. At least the type of stains on this man's cup, obviously not the black bit at the bottom of the mug you haven't washed in 3 days.
