Totally classic "Love Boat" action. The "Deacon" certain reflects "70s glitter." Alice Cooper, David Bowie, and Kiss did so well with makeup for their on-stage appearances. As time went by, it was needed less. Still, nostalgia has its place. Unfortunately, Sonny Bono is long gone.

We saw Charo in Laughlin a few years ago and we loved her show. Pure entertainment, we loved every minute. What a talent!!

'Campfire Girls' TV commercials were ubiquitous during the Saturday morning cartoons in the early 60s; coming out of Buffalo, NY and broadcast throughout the Lakes Ontario & Erie / Great Lakes region regardless of the border. I recall Brownies and Boy Scouts, and Girl Scout Cookies... Now, 60 years later, I live in the Sonoran Desert, and most often we have drum circles around the campfire as well as sing-alongs...
