I love your advent calendar tradition. Every year I see them, I’d like to buy one, but I always remember too late in December. (We’ve been away for 3 weeks, just got home, and are trying to catch up with house things.) We’ll have to talk about crystals on the phone!

Aldi has some great ones with imported chocolate that are reasonable. I love the chocolate at Aldi.

America has an aging population. In-Home health care is the best model for providing for the medical needs in a safe and effective manner. We need to do more for our own citizens. You will not be fighting this battle alone…

Congrats of merch. I completely understand wanting laws in place to allow for people to stay in their home with the care they need. Facilities are always full and dealing with placements is a nightmare, not to mention comfort and peace of mind.

I agree 100 percent ! Having the right amount of quality care at home will prevent hospitalizations, improve outcomes and provide support to caregivers. If this is implemented Medicare will be spending less on hospitalizations as well. I would like to buy some merch!

Wow! You guys have been busy! Your decorations look great.,Love all the spooky spirit and also the hat photos. You two make the perfect royal couple. 👑 We are keeping busy with doctor appointments and short trips. We both just got our Covid and several days later, flu, vaccines. We’re getting ready for our 3rd trip since September, headed back to Assateague for more time with the wild ponies! No plans yet for Halloween, but we are hoping to be up north in the mountains to enjoy fall leaf peeping.

So innovative and awesome! This type of transfer (with its simple & mobile equipment) really gives you options. It’s so wonderful to see Dan enjoying a beach chair at the water’s edge, one of life’s greatest pleasures for sure!

I like the butterfly wallpaper. I like how you were able to reclaim sleeping together. That is beautiful and special for couples. I never think abt the twin bed aspect. Good point.

Sharon I feel for you and Dan. Unfortunately decisions and policies are made by accountants and not those administering care. Not to defend Magee but if three people dropped out of appointments in one day and 4 folks were left with nothing to do it would not be economically feasible for them to run the business for they are not compensated for the time of those employees. Your circumstances are extraordinary and I’m sure the average therapy patient does not have them and these circumstances should be taken under consideration. You are doing the right thing by finding therapy that is more user friendly but are you sacrificing quality of care. When I had my knee replaced I went to Penn medicine in Philly because my research proved them the best. It was out of the way and inconvenient but I wanted the best. Sometimes to get the best sacrifices must be made. Btw even my dentist sends 10 text reminders for an appointment these days. Magee does not??
