We cannot sign players, we can try to recruit players but there is no guarantee of success with that. We have what we have so finding a coach with a style that suits the players, is common sense. Grimm did not have a style that suited us and his style was not a secret so not sure why we hired him. The JFF makes a lot of strange choices and I hope they get this right because failing to do so will guarantee us not making the world cup. We wanted Tappa gone and the JFF hired a man that never coached before. Hall came in and did madness, then learned and improved but he took over when we needed instant results, we did not have time for him to find himself. I really hope we get a competent coach, who will refuse to be controlled, will have a personality to control the dressing room and has a style that suits us.

Group of life and we died a death after 2 games. Venezuela are a decent team. Coached well. We should have a very good chance but we have been coached extremely poorly. This coach has shown, he only knows how to park the bus OK and even that, he hasn't done we because he leaves us open in midfield while doing it. We have nothing to lose. Just believe in the players and go for it. 2 in midfield makes it tough to pass the ball well and when one of the 2 is 'busquets' it's even tougher. True, no structured plan. No clear patterns of play. No fluidity. The coach needs to show us something different and give us some belief.
