This is just a local elementary school in the Horie neighborhood in Osaka city, but for one night (maybe a couple nights) it becomes straight up Ghibli, during the BonOdori festival, which is randomly held in the summer (the date depends on the park/school/city). Normally, you can't just walk into this school yard, but this is a neighborhood style festival. Almost all the local parks have the same festival. The next video I posted is at a park nearby.

It is not too expensive to book the private bath for a couple hours, and it's usually never full (maybe they have a dozen or so). I'm not sure if you can cover them, and I'm not sure if they are allowed at this bath house, it depends from place to place (and I don't have tattoos, so I never asked). Please enjoy the private bath... I always do 😀

I hope you can visit Japan soon... the monorails are extra cool! But they are better in the Kanto area, near Kamakura and Chiba.

It's such a great park/atmosphere... many little paces to escape to and explore 😍

The front view of the fireworks can be seen from the other side of the bridge that you can see in the video, but you have to pay for seats over there, and they are sold on a lottery system...

Many hotels have public baths, and sometimes you have to be a guest to use the public bath, but usually anyone can walk in and pay to use the bath. They also have private baths, which are often only available to guests, but sometimes day travels can reserve a private room/bath... This, however, is an onsen/bath house, which is a level above the sento (a local style bath house used by people without showers or baths in their homes/or what have you/just for fun too). There are no hotel rooms available in a bathhouse, but the nicer/larger ones also have food and massages and bed rock baths and tatamis rooms for lying down and more amenities, like a spa. You only pay for the services you want... so you can just go in, take off your shous, ahaha, walk to the counter, and pay to enjoy the public bath (you can stay as long as you want, sleep in the rest area if you want), or reserve a public bath, pay extra to enjoy the bed rock bath, and hang out anyway you like. I love getting the private room for an hour or two, then I can go in with my partner, but we also enjoy the public bath for an hour or two, sometimes we do the bedrock bath (which is basically a big lay down sauna). Definitely look for the best baths (onsen or hotel, it doesn't matter) in your area!! Sorry for the long reply, but please ask me any questions (specific or general) anytime 😃

It was a real treat... But you have to eat it so quickly because it will melt quickly, even in winter... I couldn't capture/show all the secret ingredients inside, including different fruits and chocolate and raspberry mousse, the outside was lemon and pistachio, and a major flavor was honey (hatchi mitsu) to match with the themes of bees (hatchi) and 8 (hatchi) for their 8-year anniversary.

You know the quality is high when you can eat it quickly without getting a brain freeze or freezing your mouth... because the shaved ice is so thin and fluffy.

right?!?! stay tuned for the shorts videos, the energy is so high, it's a little crazy

It's a great escape... I wish there were more of these tucked into the city, instead of the bigger sprawling parks located on the outskirts... like Banpaku and Hattori Ryokuchi
