@@pipolebnene To make sure the pad is clean. A year ago, there was debris on the pad, and I lightly scratched the black paint on the bonnet. I had to repolish and reapply the ceramic coating again 😅

@@pipolebnene I do before and after most of the time.. sometimes when you use the ceramic bottle for the second time, the ceramic can crystallise on the bottle so when you put the ceramic on the pad you may get some crystal ceramic and then you scratch the paint… I do this to keep it safe 🙂

@@darrenwootton2007 the car is brand new, it wasn’t even dirty. And this kind of wheel are the best, I would have pre rinse if it was black glossy for exemple, but in this one in this condition zero point of doing it 🙂 A dirty wheel even with a pre rinse is worse than doing no pre rinse on brand new wheels

@@Greg_the_detailer hey Greg, was just wondering. With your mobile setup, do you have a generator to power the Bigboi? If so, which one do you use? I’m looking at getting a generator, but unsure which one to get. Bigboi recommend 4000watt minimum.

@@shawnybdmc hey, No I don’t have, when I do a client I use his power mate. I never needed one so no point to spend money on and it takes so much space and it’s noisy..

@@Greg_the_detailer ah ok. I live rurally and service a lot of farmers. Fortunately I’ve been lucky enough to always have a power supply. But there’s going to be a time where there’s no power and I just want to be prepped. Much appreciated brother.

@@Greg_the_detailer thanks Greg. You are a detailed so you know more about cars then I do. But while the cars probably sit at the manufacturer for a while, they are covered during transit to the dealer. I just don’t see how they can pick up very much in the way of containments.

@@jeffshea1389they still get contaminants, most of the cars I do are brand new and I can guarantee you my claybar is dirty at the end of the job. Some cars more than others, it depends… but to keep it safe I prefer do the claybar. To be honest, if you don’t do on a brand new car I don’t think it gonna change much, but I still prefer doing it rather than taking the risk.

@@Greg_the_detailer Had quite a few of them on test, VW Group have done well with the brand. Same with SEAT/Cupra. Was actually really impressed with the SEAT Ateca that I bought one two weeks ago! Have to wait until the end of March for it though..
