for the longest time i thought god hated me because i wasn’t sharing the gospel enough, loving enough, or being joyful enough. but when i hear this it brings so much peace to my heart. but i’ve been struggling every single moment of the day bc it seems like a lot of christian’s find their purpose in ‘their calling’ but i feel like God just wants me to slow down and sit at the table but i feel like something wrong with me for that and i never know what to do and then i get confused and i don’t know what to do again.

Thank you so much for this. I received heart revelation that it’s HIS love for me not my love for Him. Scriptures I read a hundred times came to life. It is no longer me who leads worship but Christ who leads worship through me. I was terrified to start leading worship again after 3 months of hiding and listening to this the Holy Spirit opened my eyes, the pressure was removed and I was able to get myself there just with the faith that He would do it through me. Thank you so much for sharing this. I’ll carry this through my life. Bless you both and your ministry! 🙏🏻🫶🏻

This is so good y'all. I'm just sitting here and I'm just smiling. Like what Ashely was saying about going into your room and shutting your door... YESS -- there's just something about that physical move to go into your room and shut that door. Its all together prayers, scriptures, songs, silence. Yes, you're with the Lord in every moment but sometimes you will just see me making a move and run to my room! Whether it be to devour scripture or if it's that call in your spirit man that the Lord is calling you to the secret place...And also in light of the secret place(or as I've come to know it as a wide open space), I will say this about the beautiful moments we have witnessed of y'all singing the scriptures, for instance, Colossians 3. Man, because I had tasted that Word and really spent the time with Jesus in my secret place and had it written on my heart when you started singing, it was like I already knew the song you were singing even though I had no clue the melody! It all comes back to the secret place with Jesus. And even though it is secret in some mysterious way it is all still connected (like oh you do that too!) because we are the body and we are all spending secret time with the Man. :)

Whoa whoa!! I was looking at Luke 15:17 (prodigal son), and after it says he came to his senses (REMEMBERED), he says, "...my Father's hired men have more than enough BREAD..." That's wild!! I never saw that before.

In 2017 when I had been recently baptized and began to hunger for more of God. I was working a 9-5 and would frequently go to the same lunch spot. I began to have a relationship with a man named Steven. I eventually heard the Lord whisper tell Him about me. I heard it 3 separate times and never obeyed due to fear of man. The next time I went to the lunch spot I did not see Steven and I somehow knew something bad had happened when I got to the counter to order I asked where Steven was. The employee said I'm so sorry Steven was in a car accident and died. I felt sick to my stomach and left and spent my lunch break praying and asking God for forgiveness for my disobedience. I would like to say I never struggle with fear of man again but I have Steven's face in my mind when I even consider backing down when I'm supposed to speak up.

Ah yes so good!! He is worship! Yes, He is alive!!! 🙌🙌🙌 This revelation is huge and so needed in the body of Christ! It needs to be deeply rooted in our hearts.

Question! How do I balance leading worship expressively and fully unto the Lord while also respecting the format and ways that my traditional church has does things in regard to what worship looks like? :)

I think often times we don't actually really know how dead and bound we were in our sins and how alive our God is, so we end up worshiping the Lord out of this place of deadness and defeat, as if we were still dead and bound, and Jesus' body still laying lifeless inside of that tomb. And that which is dead cannot offer nor receive worship. If we served a dead man, a dead god, why would we rend worship to him? He could not receive it. That would be pointless. And if we're still dead, how could we worship Him? That wouldn't be possible. But thank God we don't serve a lifeless god like the manmade idols but the living God, and the living God is the God of the living and not of the dead, being worthy of all praise. We need to be caught up in this reality of how very much alive Jesus is and the power of His resurrection. He is risen. Not a lifeless body in a tomb, but a very much alive and victorious worthy King who defeated death and grave. And because of that, we who believe also have become very much alive and free in Him. Because He live so we live. Because the Son has set us free, we are free indeed. That's good news. So I believe it is fair to say that where now there's life and freedom, then there must be worship. Living a life in remembrance of what's done leads us to living a life in more awareness of His presence and of His coming. It changes everything.
