I bought one three years ago and had completed several small projects with it including hardwood floors for a family room 160 square feet and kitchen 60 square feet, and a small new front porch.
Those shims are useless. The are not installed correctly and are completely wrong material
I am 5'8"@ 210# and set 35 16' 8"×8" pressure treated post with just one other 5'8" 165# guy. Mutiple times at that. We had to measure deck height for each one, lower it down, cut it to height and then re-set it. 😂 I sure we had had a few other guys to help out 😂😂😂
What's the 6ft of tarp for.....
Exactly... I had to supervise this work better protecting the pool... Like I said in description, we underestimated amount of dust from removing pool deck overlayer
@@sergii_contractor That's a drain and wash right there, unless it all really hung out on the top.
@@gotdammit after settling we did vacuuming to waste bypassing pool filter, not much of water lost. Need to clean pump strainer often though as it was collecting all those big particles and chips
@@sergii_contractor Gotta be careful putting that kind of stuff through the plumbing. We use a Pentair leaf trap for that kind of stuff. Less emptying baskets in general too. Can fit a lot of shit in those.
@@gotdammit agreed, but we would just blow settled dust all over with leaf trap, was more dust than chips and particles
She's in a bathing suit with that swamp in her yard? "Can I swim yet?"
😀😁
Ain’t nobody seen this hoe yet man. I saw it tho, great job 🤙🏽
What is that song played throughout the video?
Many piers with wide bases = less pressure per square foot on the slabs = longer useful life for the house / floor. Especially in soft sandy foundations. Many thanks.
Thank you for this amazing video 🤙🏾😊
How did the test go

Don't listen to this. All you have to do is squeeze below the springs on the thumb rests and it will open the top of the nail area. Then slide the hammer back and remove the nail. DO NOT TAKE IT APART UNNESSARY.

Serж! Ultimate builder!!!
These saws are junk! I got one for Christmas and have nothing but trouble! The fence isn't square with the table top,the elevation mechanism drops while blades is turning, the miter gauge is cheap plastic and not square either, for rough work they might be OK but for fine detail work they are garbage!
Dummies. Put a board under there for leverage, and to not damage the board you are installing.
Whats the fix
Why it squishy
@@skyhiashell groundwater is too close
@@sergii_contractor I know it's just a joke
not level...wrong. router to cut the hole lol
The person doing the demonstration, does not know how to use a table saw. Never ever use a rip fence when cutting across grain of the wood, it is a dangerous thing to do . For cross cutting you should use the cross cut guide some places call it a miter fence. When the person ripping the 2x he or she was using the push guide on the wrong side. I doubt this person ever used any power tools
Looks good also building one.
Thank you for all the tips, this is really going to help me with leveling our mobile homes.
big job, for big boys)
great reel!! extra plus for music!!!
Thank you so much!! 🎼
Turbine not level!
Well how am I supposed to throw my back out sledging and carrying it away now??
Lol gotta buy the right size stuff man. Probably better off using compression for that transition. Looks like a smaller than 1/2 copper line probably soft copper and would be better to use a compression fitting that is probably 1/2 box 5/8 or like 3/8 maybe who knows what that old pipe is but it’s smaller than the sharkbyte he’s using which looks 1/2 in. The mcgiver stuff this guy did with a flare tool.. don’t do that. That’s ridiculous.
How much do you charge for This service?
I'm on my second Craftsman belt sander for the sole reason that I like the pointed end, giving it a longer flat basis than the others - and that the handle is so positioned as to give it a low center of gravity, The very negative side is that the bearing underneath the pulley begins to heat up at only slight use, seize up and rotate inside the plastic assembly piece. Repair is near-impossible unless you have saved all unaffected parts from your previous Craftsman belt sander which died the same way. Even than - you must manufacture special servicing tools to effectively hold still some moving parts to prevent them from turning during disassembly and assembly. As an engineer - I find this "Beyond Economical Repair" ethos difficult to swallow, so out of expedience, I buy another one for $75 or more.
That much boiling water can destroy your pipes if they're PVC. Most modern homes use PVC.
True, too much of exposure for prolonged period of time on regular basis can damage structural integrity of PVC pipes. In moderate amounts should be fine.
I plan to use screw jacks as a permanent support which I can adjust some each day to resolve sagging until it stays. I know I can't jack it up completely at once and need to space it out between hours and days to give existing wood time to adjust so it doesn't split. Also, I have a laser self-level I'm going to use to measure the areas which need adjustment. They are so cheap these days you can get great ones for $200. As for bottle jacks, you can use them with another beam to help take pressure off the screw jacks while adjusting and then remove them. The screw jacks are steel and rated for 20 tons so they should do the job and look nice with reinforced concrete pads at their bottom to give a solid flat foundation.
Great job… thanks for
i didnt even know a drain could get clogged 😵💫
b.t.w. The last floor we had sink, and bounce, was shockingly not attached to the house. It was fairly much a deck, that had a few 2x4's legs that rotted. The 2x6's were 12' long, (shocking), and dated in the mid 1970s, so, they had been there for 50 years.
Everybody built all different type of crazy stuff back in a day especially in small towns or outskirt areas.
do not put houses on cinderblocks. use solid blocks.
Don't worry, they're wearing 'safety green' shirts.
How long do gel baits last. When should i cycle baits
looks very good
Im refinishing hardwood floors and this tool is able to cut through thick aluminum oxide poly with a 36 grit gator belt with no issue. Definitely worth the buy. This sander is a beast
I’ve recently noticed my house doesn’t have any of these on the roof. My house does have simple side vent ventilation though. Can these also be installed in my situation?
Sure, here is general video about roof turbines so you can get an idea and plan for yourself: ua-cam.com/video/Hmzyks8oc1w/v-deo.html
What's with the awful laud music?
This was a great video!! Bidding on a house that will need some adjustment so this is very helpful

Thank you, Sir!
Great video. Thanks!
Your channel videos are very nice😍😍 plesse Check your Email 🥰
I’ve “leveled” a few homes. Your advice is solid. Usually the aim should be to avoid further contortion and or settling. Unbending a bent home can destroy things and is often unnecessary. Flattening of interior spaces can be achieved other ways.
can I use a dado head on this tablesaw?
Trying this on a Mobile home. Any Tips?
my god...PLEASE PEOPLE DON'T MAKE CUTS LIKE THIS VIDEO IS SHOWING. THERE'S PLENTY OF REASONS WHY, JUST DON'T.
Ok, and why not? Looks pretty safe to me.
bottle jacks cannot be used as permanent support (as you said), but also, if the floor is "dangerous to walk on" in any spots (as in, you may fall through without additional support), then jack posts are not allowed as permanent support either. they are only allowed as "supplementary support" so floors do not dip down. however, jack posts CAN work to help, even in YOUR situation. but you need to realize that ALL jack posts have a maximum weight limit, and houses weigh a TON (hundreds of tons, typically). so you really need more than just half a dozen jack posts, evenly spaced, for most houses, and NOT just in a single line, but evenly dispersed in the entire area of your crawlspace. they also sell "industrial" jack posts, that are denser and designed for holding heavier loads, which CAN minimize how many you need, but you should STILL disperse them evenly, and not just in a straight line. you gotta drop the beam down on them evenly to avoid bending the metal plates on them, and wasting your investment. and MOST importantly, you must drop it down SLOWLY, so you can gauge how much flexing is going on, both in the jack posts and the wooden cross-beam, as even a 6x6 beam can flex and crack! it takes a team effort to do it right and drop the whole house evenly on the support posts or piers.
Diaz bros!
Good tip!
