But for our house, it's not crowded with 15 people, we are just 7 for a huge spacious 4 bedroom house with 2 living rooms, extra large kitchen with sufficient storage spaces, backyard, driveway parking and 3 bathrooms as well! I'm not sure of other places....

Don't come as a family. It would be very expensive without an income. First let your husband come and find a job staying in a shared bed space (700-1000 aed per month). Once he finds a job and gets salary for 2 to 3 months, his status would have changed from employee in probation period to permanent employee. Also by this time he would know which area is the best place to take accommodation based on his job location (as he would have knowledge of areas around UAE , know where his office is and whether he would travel by bus or metro etc). After he takes a new home, he would have new expenses to buy furniture and other stuff for the flat. Then let him find a nursery or school for the kids, check the fee structure etc. Once all this is ok, he can sponsor visa for you and kids with which you can come here. If you (wife) plan to work as well, I would suggest you to keep kids with your parents or in-laws if possible so it is easier for you to search for a job here. If you don't have a plan to work, you can come with your kids once your husband has taken a flat and got the entry permit approval. Please don't make the mistake of coming here as a family. Also don't come here until his job is confirmed and everything is ok for him at his job. There is no one place that is best for accommodation. It depends on many factors...access to metro, bus etc as both of you won't have driving license or car as soon as you come. You might find a cheaper place at one area but won't have many conveniences for transport. Before your husband comes alone, he can use dubizzle app to find bed spaces closer to metro station. He can pick whatever is cheaper from there.

Hi, the current situation is a bit difficult due to the winters and job market is slow, it should slowly open up in summer months! Not so sure on Mississauga and Brampton as we did hear it’s easier to find compared to Northbay, we do know people who have found few jobs in restaurants and gas stations through reference as well, should keep trying! We shall make a video shortly as well

It is not easy to find accommodation here, better to arrive atleast 1 to 1 and half week earlier and start searching in person, please don’t pay any advance if you’re searching online as there are lot of spams around. It’s called Al Badri Real Estate, they are maintaining the property and their office is located in Al Barsha, you can contact them at +97144075900 and please schedule an appointment via email/ phone as there was an issue faced when we didn’t schedule appointment earlier(this info is not mentioned anywhere). They will assist you. The apartment however is located in Dubai Land Residence and you can directly walk in to the building and security will help in viewing if any unit is vacant.

Canadore college cannot provide work permit as per new law. As it’s a diploma mill. Govt has banned it.

@harneet Don’t worry about PGWP in Northbay (Commerce Court) as the new rule is not applicable for commerce court Canadore College as of now, they have specifically mentioned for other campuses like Mississauga, Stanford etc, please ensure to check the IRCC guidelines properly

Hi, not sure if you found anyone doing this but we didn’t notice any 10 students living in basement as usually basements are of 1 bedroom unit. But there are students living and sharing with a bigger house(4 to 5 bedroom houses with upper unit and 1 or 2 bedroom basement) but not as the high rents mentioned in your comment.

Oh good to know about US, but please do note that this is one of the beautiful closed spacious kitchen in Dubai as Dubai holds open concept kitchen which is still smaller! Do think twice before you go to Dubai as the kitchen might remain the same size unlike USA😅 There are Villa communities, wherein you can try to own one and customize the kitchen size.
