Always take the old part off first and take it to the parts house. That way they can see exactly what ya need!

Try jumping across the solenoid with a screwdriver! Then put the gearshift in neutral to see if will start.

Your negative batter cable needs to go to a solid metal surface to be able to ground good. Most of em bolt to the first exhaust manifold bolt.

There is no way that starter was dead. Either not in neutral or park. Or not grounded.A screwdriver to the solenoid Would have at least been an attempt. Its sad to see people trying to do something that they know very little about.

Orange wire should be to the heater blower

Glad you guys figured it out on the starter I thought it was going to be the neutral safety switch

You guys might want to try to put it in park again and wiggle the steering column because sometimes the neutral safety switch will mess up

You cannot push start an automatic it will not work
