Dragging Front Car Bumper? Me too.
Переглядів 623 місяці тому
If you've driven a compact car or sedan, you know how easy it is to damage the front bumper and cause it to hang and drag. That has happened here to my 1994 Acura Integra RS, so I'm going to do what I can to fix it.

A bit late to the party , but nice job.👍
Looks great
Would love to see how you modified your bag. It’s a great idea. Thank you, all the best ⚡️
This is flipping brilliant! Only problem is, now I have to go and spend more money so I can make one for myself!!😅
I like the over all design, particularly the use of the struts which are fantastic. But there are a few tweaks I would probably make. The first one that came to mind, was that maybe I want to charge with the lid closed, with something else stacked on top. You could cut some holes in the side of the Packout and attach standard PC cooling fans for airflow allowing the box to be closed while still in use, you can even put some filter material over the openings to prevent it from sucking in a ton of dust. The other thing is that the cable might be convenient in some ways, but I think it would end up inconvenient in others. I would probably opt for a C13 socket on the back, and put a couple of cord wrapping hooks inside the case to store a cable. My key rationale for this, is that I would almost certainly want a power distribution system for my Packout stack - such as a power bar mounted to the wheeled bottom box or hand truck. In such a case, I would keep a standard C13 cord connected to the power bar so that I could plug in my charging station but could easily unplug from the back of the charging station and move it without needing to find where the other end of the cord plugged in. Finally, when I saw the dummy plug I initially thought you were going to do something slightly different than what you did. That extension cord you had had 3 outlets but you only needed two. You could actually run a short extension from the third outlet to an externally mounted socket just to give yourself an extra place to plug something else in.
Oh My....A Kline MultiDriver instead of the Milwaukee...Tisk Tisk...
Bro you are smart. I need people like you in my life cuz I’m full of ideas
I've been looking at that box since it came out, wondering how could I use it. Now I know, so I suppose I'll be adding to my Packout collection. I would probably skip cable management in favor of power distribution blocks.
Awesome!
Well done! It's a bummer we can't get these from milwaukee meanwhile FLEX gets it and has brackets available that adjust to all their charger styles for the inner lid of their STACK PACK. Wanna make me one? LOL, seems straight forward the only killer is most people don't own a 3D printer for specific things like those spacers for the struts.
I'm confused. Where do you plug the unit into power?
You keep yellow tools in the pack out… You’re canceled
Did you even watch the video? Definitely no yellow tools here.
Most useful mod yet. I have to do this
Keep it properly Lubed 4 next 100 yrs of Service !
Yes! This is from the late 1800s
Was this part of car start?
No, a different project
Would have used a black cord, black grommet, and black screws for the lid. Pretty cool though.
Cool idea. I would add electronic/instruments heater to keep the batteries warm during the cold Canadian winter
Yeah, when the video started I thought maybe you had a battery and dc/ac inverter in there so you can charge anywhere. Lol
Лютый колхоз. У удлинителя нельзя что ли резануть провод, потом запаять в колодке.
That's some ghostbusters 2 type shit right there.
Nice design, makes sense to me. Off to buy the ammo box and parts!! Thanks!
I don't understand, at first glance you hide the battery info, why???
sweet rig, man. Love the simplicity and utility.
Great video I am going to have to make me one.
I vastly prefer rapid chargers. That's why I don't like the packout light, too. There's 3 levels of chargers. They even have a supercharger, but it's thicc. I use the same box for batteries, unmodded. It holds my rapid charger in a 2x1 slot, 2 18v 8.0ah, and 4 18v 5ah, with the insert still inside. Which I haven't sorted yet but I might be able to toss 12v batteries in it. I have the big 12v batteries though, I think 4 or 6ah. I use mine to take batteries off the job. It's like a 600 dollar box, not including the 12v Batts if they fit.
just a small niggle, those struts are upside down. the fat part needs to be at the top. :) otherwise very cool.
Love it; I’d just need 10 of those packout ammo cans for all of my batteries and chargers😂
Will the 12v batteries fall out when lid is closed
This was really sweet idea, too bad I just recently got into Packouts around November 2023 so I’m sure you already did the giveaway. I wouldn’t change a single thing about this at all, if anything I would add a heating device too it if your taking it out with you to work and it’s cold. An old worn out or damaged Milwaukee hoodie/jacket. Take the guts and you get the rest of the idea, I’ve seen someone recently line/heat up their Packout. Great for epoxy and batteries. Same concept! 👊👊👊🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice work!
I'm astounded by your creativity... I was looking at that same packout box for charger/battery storage for by milwaukee stuff
That’s pretty cool I like it great idea!! Cheers 🍻 😊
That’s awesome u should make a portable light that hooks up to packout on top of the
Very cool. Gave me some inspiration to make one for the Toughbuilt Stacktech.
Milwaukee sells the M12/M18 6 port rapid charge station already so at first glance this doesn't seem all that useful, but since this is enclosed I could see this being of value if you insulated and fully waterproofed the box. Then you wouldn't have to worry about having your batteries out in the elements
That unit didn't exist when I designed this. I like the six bay for sure, but it's pricey as well.
A great way to find mounting holes in back of charger is to put peice of 2"painters tape over hole mark tape were holes are take tape off place tape were ur gonna mount charger
this is great, im definitely doing this but adding a small warming pad since it gets a bit chilly in my neck of the woods
Very cool. How about a custom M12 drill/ driver/hackzall packout system?
Could you please use the AI voice over so I can actually watch your video do you have a voice that makes me want to rip out my own ear drops
Ear...drops?
And now I am a new subscriber
It’s funny … all the people who had to give you all their input on how you could have built it better…. I would bet you .. .they can’t build a damn thing … but they sure know what you need to do.,…. Good job .. screw them
Very good video …. Impressed with the precision. Was thinking … hmmm i think i will build this … right up to the point you said… “so i 3D printed …” lol
Best PACKOUT mod
Will you be adding your long bit bin and tray to your store?
I will, once I am happy with how refined the design is. I'm using this version currently and it could use some work.
perfect cheap short term solution that’s what 3d prints are the best at
That's exactly right!
To bad your website doesn’t recognize my address
Minimal tools. Need a 3D printer lol
Sometimes tpu can leak maybe try resin
Resin flexibles were hard to source last time I looked, though it's been quite some time.
seal it i with silicone too no water will get in
Not a bad idea, though this is a temporary fix.
Pretty cheap way to fix it, I just wonder how long it will last
TPU is pretty tough stuff. I'm hopeful it'll last a little while at least.
