I think Greenfield District in Mandaluyong is even more vibrant, compared to BGC when it comes to night market food strolling. Same vibe but not very expensive. However, they need to attract more cocktail bars to balance the food palate with beers and liquors.

You2 are brave going to Quiapo and eating the munchies. Two of my favs snacks turon and empanada. I usually buy turon at SM Hypermarket. They have 3 choices: langka (jackfruit), ube and chocolate. I used to get empanada at Mang Inasal however they’re no longer available. Idk why the chicken balls are orange 😂

Manila can get too hot for foreigners. Best to visit a few shops with air-conditioning, as you walk. Nighttime is a bit cooler so less chance of heat stroke.
