I believe Kid could have become the perfect rival for luffy. The only difference i see is Kid is more violent while luffy is Kinder. - Both Kid and Lufyy are from same Generation. - Both of them are really serious about becoming pirate King. - Both Kid and Luffy are Idiots (Law is Smart, he makes plans.) - Both Kid and Luffy are Stuborn, They will keep hitting stronger opponents until they win. - Both Kid and Luffy have amazing endurance. ( we saw kid was taking a hell lot of damage during his fight with linlin). - Both Kid and Luffy are very brave. Imagine Kaido falling down on your base even blackbeard would have gotten his ass beat. But Kid chose to fight kaido. - Both are after One Piece from the very start. ( I have not seen even once Law saying he wants One Piece, he wants to only read history). - and The most Important Both of them have got some history with shanks. ( Kid's Left hand is not the reason he wants to kill shanks). Well now it really doen't matter considering kid is dead. But he was a great character and i want people to stop hating him just because he got one shot by shanks. Remeber Luffy also got one shot by kaido. Shanks , Kaido , LinLin, Whitebeard, Roger these are different creatures. As hawkins said logic doen't apply to them.

I agree about Usopp having a top 5 bounty by the end of the series. The whole point of his character is that he’s really weak and cowardly but has a comically fraudulent reputation as a legend. He keeps collecting crazy titles like Sogeking and God Usopp, there are several statues built dedicated to him, he’s loved by the giants and the tontatta.

I dont need to Usopp become powerfull, but I really want to he have some moments.
