You didn't debunk anything. Josephus listed the consensus by Quirinius as happening in 6 CE, just as McClellan claims. No other consensus by Quirinius appears to be listed by Josephus, so it seems you don't know what you're saying rather than McClellan not knowing what you're saying.

Here's two challenges for you. 1 find an actual historical example of census that wants you to return to your birthplace and why it was required. 2 use any resource you want and trace your ancestry back 500 years.. Luke and Mathew did it 2000 years ago and went back 1000 years to king David going back 500 with our technology should be easy
