there must be a hole somewhere in your plastic bag or it wasn't sealed properly.

You need a recovery machine for that. This is good if you have a system that's already evacuated.

@@johngrefe2232 its usually safe unless to much chlorides are used in the water like in certain fringe cases which were heavily publicised im sure i dont need to mention them

I did but it's still too hard. Did you also remove the shaft or just leave it. I'll try to pry it again and see what happen. Thx again.

You probably got it by now but mine didn't come apart easily either. The oil pan has an intermediate spline gear inside that seals hard against the oil pan. It took a stupid amount of prying and wiggling at the diff to get it to move the 1 Inch you need to clear the bolt head

This is a great video. If you follow everything that he does, the job should be easy. As far as getting that last bolt out that's behind diff Get you a jack. Place it up under a differential. Do not put a lot of pressure on it. Get a come along and pull it away from Oil pan housing and that will give you enough to room to get the bolt out and it will not drop down. It will rest on the undercarriage

I've gotten reman alternators from Oriellys that had the wrong pulley on them. the pins shouldn't adjust the alignment since all of the bolts along the side of the block create a really static placement. the bolts on the face of the engine and pins are preventing flexing of the bracket fron the belt being driven. if the alternator is correct, the most likely i remember is the lower alternator bolt not being aligned straight through the rear hole and instead skewed to the side where it can threat of the casting of the bolt hole and appear to be tightening.

@@johngrefe2232 That last part has to be my problem . Or i noticed on alternator has some type of adjustment guide pin on the lower slot. Idk what it is

On the e70 it's easier and can be done from the top. Funnier, the jack stands were recalled for collapsing. Getting a lift at the new shop!

Pretty sure I removed it and replaced it with a cheapo off eBay, I did another video on that, but I try to replace/service things prematurely if I have to move them.

I unbolted mine and let it rest on the cross bar up front, no need to open the system this way
