I’m glad Akihiko’s toxic relationship with Ugetsu finally end. Like any other relationship, it started with intense passion to finish with endless bitterness, obsession and selfishness. Haruki deserves better than be treated like a third wheel or worse, but after all love is so complicated. We are all human beings, second chances exist.

The movie did a bit injustice to Akihiko because they only focused on Haruki. Aki was in love with Haru way before but he wasn't able to leave Ugetsu. That's the thing about toxic relationships , one cannot understand unless they've personally experienced such things. I was somehow in similar spot as Haruki and I can say even if you are ready to let go, it's just not that easy. Somewhere deep inside you always want that one person to somehow change their thoughts and come back. Also later in the manga Aki did everything for Haruki, even his character info changed to 'Right now ,he has only eyes for Haruki'. Aki was a good man, and yes his actions were not justified at all but after reading the manga I did understand him and he did redeem himself by his actions. And above all Haruki's the most happy guy in the manga rn. I hated the old Aki but the new changed one is a completely different breed.
Finally someone who gets it, and has not just heard about it. Akihiko’s toxicness was imbued by Ugetsu, it started off as attraction but Ugetsu became toxic and threw tantrums. I feel the producers rlly needed to emphasise this more
@@aahanaomg689 I feel like I can't also really blame Ugetsu ,he was very toxic but somehow also very relatable once I understood his character 😂 People always take things for their face value and blame and judge but it's really difficult to say someone was completely wrong . Ugetsu loved Aki a lot too but his love for music was far greater which made Aki feel inferior even if he didn't want him to feel like that. Ugetsu was the first one to realise that he was hurting Aki and decided to leave him but Aki is like a lost puppy 😭 he follows him even after he gathered the courage to say that (obv Aki had his reasons to keep following too) . Ugetsu did say he didn't want him but he actually did because he was the only one who ever tried to understand the real him when no one did, he was his only friend so he couldn't completely let him go too. It feels like the more I type ,more 'but , since, hence' will appear so I should stop 😭 I'm really sorry I'm too into the psychology of the characters from this anime. I love all of them 😭 I can't take anyone's aide

@@Star14Light The anime is Given,it has a season with 11 or 13 ep,a movie revolving around the characters in this reel, and then this year they released a two part movie series around other characters with one of the movies released already and the other getting released in Japan's theatres in October I guess. These two movies are named Given: Hiiragi Mix and Given:To the sea As for the manga ,although it was supposed to have ended last year or so but maybe due the popularity or some reason the mangaka decided to continue the manga with a time skip 😍 and it's ongoing.. The chapters release once every two months ... I know it's too long but the anticipation for every ch is insane and I personally go crazy after reading the ch everytime. It's like my no 1 bl.... I hope you like it too

can someone explain the real situation between akihiko and ugetsu..manga readers , when i watched movie, my brain literally didn't work and i could not comprehend. ugetsu says he loves him to death in the other hand says have been trying to get rid of him.. what's wrong with them? i'm in total awe..
Helloooo fellow anime watcher here. Ugetsu and Aki were each others first loves and genuinely loved one another. But Ugetsu found himself wanting to be more focused on violin, and broke up. Aki still needed a house though, since his parents had gone through a divorce and he didn't have a place to stay - Ugetsu knew this. He'd either go back to Ugetsu or sleep with other people. Going back to Ugetsu was both painful, because unrequited love, and helpless, because he still loved him. And Ugetsu keeps trying to kick Aki out and make him never return but he still wanted him to come back (because he still loves him) In the end, Aki leaves Ugetsu because he found someone else to love. Ugetsu was scared that Aki would never return, but at that final scene, he let go of his first love. 'It'll be okay' Hope that helps :)
Ugetsu and akihiko they both into in violin 🎻 ,akihiko stopped playing violin cause he felt jealousy towards ugetsu cause he was so fine in this, they were in toxic relationship where they both hate each other but they love each other so much ,nd later akihiko thought he would stop playing music then haruki and mafuyu music makes him realise how much he actually love music and then he break up with ugetsu ,I can say it's pretty hard anime but it have deep meaning related to your life and music! Ugetsu keep his passion even after breakup he someday will find someone too
