everything unnecessary on screen: shown everything important on screen: not shown
she seems like such a sweet person :)
privileged.
Too many words, not enough substance imho
The person that did edit this and did not convert it to mono is a terrorist
thank you very much. extremely informative and insightful while entertaining and down-to-earth all throughout
Absolutely magical stuff!
Just tell us will the coin pump or not so I put all my pocket money in it 😭😅
I like her dress
You're kidding me....are you actually eating hard candy while recording this..this guy can't be that oblivious.
Shiba Inu has recently joined hands with this games.
Is it same one? I also have a question about this company. Did They join twitter recently? Because their twitter looks new
#ShibArmy #ToTheMoon #Play2Earn #PlayToEarn Play Side Studios.
16:48 I was Artist of the Year at game school. During my 6 months at Playside I had to design 24 characters in my first week and implement them into the game, learn an animation program that only Bax barely knew how to use, implement characters animation both 2d and 3d map, ui, etc bla bla for both unity and unreal, learn to use some other dodgy facebook engine for their wonder woman game, animate in engine using unity, amongst a bunch of other technical crap we were not taught at game school. I did all that and got praise by Bax but then get fired by TJ after they lost a bunch of money from bad business with the reason being because I am not "technically proficient enough". I was 35 at the time and a lot more expensive then the 18/19 year olds they get a cutback for. Pretty obvious what happened but they can't fire someone for no reason so got to come up with something. So really, even if you push and try your hardest, if you're in the wrong environment, it will result in very little.
Would you recommend working there?
@@paxphar4997 Hell no. I wouldn't even use them as a publisher.
@@Reithierion Right ok, thanks for the heads up. I'm interviewing with them, always good to have a preview
@@paxphar4997 Ok nice! Go in for "the experience" and maybe you like it then stay. They will most likely offer you a 6 month contract but won't mention that. It will most likely be a 39k salary so expect low pay to start. They will offer more "later" but I have known people to stay on Junior salary for more than a year. If your an artist be prepared to rip off pre existing IP. Don't play poker with the boss if you like the small amount of money you will earn. Take my negativity with a grain of salt, like I said, you may like it. Best of luck!
@@Reithierion It's for a software engineer position, intermediate role, but yeah i'm not sure, the reviews i find online are not great, and there's really no shortage of work out there so, will see I guess. Thanks for your advice!
my left ear loved this...
Great presentation. However, more references when talking about topology would've been great!
Learnt nothing except it was easier to get into the industry 20 years ago
How do you run talk like this and a youtube channel but not know how to pan audio! cmon
a dislike for your camera person
How is _this_ video the best ad I've heard for squarespace??? smh.
So... where is the topology in this 1.5hr video.
Did they release the slides for this?
atrocious editing
"i'm just like you i studied a completely unrelated career and got hired by pure luck"
i wonder if it is possible to find the slides online? anyone?
I'm still doing this today! 2021 yo! Thanks Alex :::) such useful info
It would be more interesting if she actually talked about the subject rather than herself.
my guru, my inspiration, kind heart and beautiful person.
Too much talking about her self and kissing blizzard's ass and really low amount of proper info. Sharing
Where is this> How to create exact and technical topology workflow
my right ear feels left out
Why the fuck are people trying to fucking feminize the workforce? here you got 1 female teaching a whole room of men, they couldn't get 1 fucking beta man from blizzard for this presentation? but then again its 2020, and there is barely any male teachers compared to women teachers in america, less men are going to college and getting good grades in highschool, and for the first time in american history, boys will have less education than their fathers.. The feminization of the education system has done this! and fuck you blizzard for contributing to it!
Such a great talk. Touching on so many different areas of production. Great content.
TOO BAD IM BLIND
55:10 cute af <3 Great talk also, specially her energy.
Спасибо ! Было интересно узнать :)
My right ear didn't learned anything 🤪
She seems so passionate. Very good and natural talker. Love her funny little quirks. :D
wish the screen was shown during topology (aka, the main thing we clicked on this video for)
my left ear enjoined this video, also she is beautiful BUT i also wanted to see anduins hands etc.
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
<3
She's looking real good, sure, but I would have loved to see some slides more often xD Reclicking the video 5 months later, wtf there are no slides at all xD
Your camera guy needs some classes lol
For some reason, I feel like taking a Motor Boat ride...
Really valuable info here. always useful to get these tid bits from industry professionals. The video switching when she gets to the topology parts is really annoying tho. sigh.
mm i hate the fact that the audio isnt cared for and only comes out the left ear, an easy thing to fix, but you didn't bother you coulda just set the audio track to mono, but ok
Thanks. I only use the left earphone when I am with people during the day. I thought my earphone was damage. I checked it by playing music and it was ok.
why is it when she finally starts talking about topology and showing examples after over an hour, we aren't shown the screen?
Professional useless videographers.
Anyone has the slides for this talk?
Why was the screen not shown for topology? Maaaannn...
cuz life is suffering
eating candy while talking made me confused ... i couldnt finish the video ... anyways great job ♥
