Thanks learned something about using those different drill wire attachments.
To be 100% , I would cut the hole in the front with a circular saw then just clean up corner with jigsaw or multi tool
How did you mount the front of the deck?
@@neffwonder9126 there’s some internal framing with 2x4’s. Forgot to show it in detail you can catch glimpses of it at times though
Catch some fish and make fish and chips

@@jakinwalshGo ahead and laugh bro, but did you know that within seconds of putting your hands in a chemical it can be detected in your organs? Plus it can lead to irreversible skin diseases.
Did you check for leaks first?
LOOKS GREAT!
Up on some saw horses would have helped
what are you referring to?
@@jakinwalsh you wouldn't have had to work of floor height. I hate bending over to paint
@@allanmitchell7428 oh I hear ya. In the case of spraying the bottom of the boat it was on carts with wheels so that’s why it was low. Now at our shop we have taller carts with wheels :)
Great job guys I wish you were in my area to help me
Why is almost everyone painting their boats "Battleship or Primer Grey" it's so plain. Cover the trailer with a tarp and flip the boat over to lay on top. Much easier to work on.
Very well done guys
Great work gentlemen! Quick question, why doesn’t anyone ever use the rim of the boat to get the angle for the template?
Why don't you apply heat to the stickers while removing them?
we didn't have one
Anyone looking to remove old decals/stickers if nothing else get a heat gun and just apply some heat to it. It softens the vinyl and adhesive making it a little easier to remove.
What was the angles you cut your supports at ?
Im not sure sorry it was 5 years ago
How many person can load this boat

Nice work guys.
Thank you!
Peep the Senko worm just floating the air in the background 😂

Curious why the center section floor wasn’t removed and replaced. It looks like you built a second center section floor and put it on top of the original floor.
How much was spent?$
would be sick to tell us what grit you used

It's nice to see two people working together so nice, good job guys
Thank you!
Very nice guys 👍🏼
That boat is awesome great job
Nice build gentlemen.
Thank you!
Amazing! Sizes????
Awesome boat build! Great job
🤘
You guys did a great job on this boat. I'm a little proud of mine also. 14 ft. aluminum Starcraft, 30 hp. electric start Johnson with hydrofoil fin, 3 padded swivel seats, marine radio, stereo radio/cd player with 4 speakers, bimini top, automatic bilge pump, flat, carpet covered floor, electric trolling motor, fish locator, depth finder, GPS, level floatation in seats, running lights, floor lights, spotlight, oars, just in case, rod holders, cup or bottle holders, top speed 30 miles per hour, (32 with tail wind) Had people remark that my boat is the best equipped 14 ft. on Lake Stclair. Trailer has side guides and non-skid walk out platform. No wet feet for me! LOL! I love this boat.
A rubber wheel woulda took care of those decals real quick. Nice job on the boat though. Hope it's still holding out for you.
I’m looking to do something similar, one worry I had was if I cover the gas tank and store with the battery will it be potential fire hazard without a blower or is that just on inboard motors?
Great price and well built. Bought it for my twelve foot boat to get around the lake. Very powerful and easy to install.
Wondering how many quarts of paint you guys ended up using?
I think it was about half a gallon on the outside of the boat and about 1 quart on the inside
Do you store the boat inside or outside, do you have any problems with the wood rotting?
stored inside
Good job. I use lighter coats of paint.
Thanks! I actually did multiple light coats. The editing just made it look like I put it on really heavy lol
Great job guys!!
looks beautiful boys. is that a Michigan registration number?
Yup sure is
What paint did you use on the underside ? The whole build looks great 👍
Amazing work! It’s looks amazing. Pretty much looks factory brand new!
I've watched a ton of videos to get some ideas outfitting my boat and i gotta say, you guys did an awesome job. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the kind words!
Great job! I have one almost identical I will be starting this week. Trailer first, then the boat!
Are concerned about removing the floatation material? Did you inject some foam elsewhere? The boat looks real nice!
Great video I watched the whole thing
What is the best type of ply wood and sealer to use to replace on seats?
Good job guys. Very nice attention to details
Great craftsmanship! Best resto I've seen by far! Your boat came out really nice..
Thanks!
If this was automotive paint, how has it held up? Awesome build!
