This version is weird, Carrie NEVER kissed Tommy, it's not even in the original version they did it and it looks so fake the whole story of this 2002 movie, also that the Carrie of this film is ugly, it seems that suffered from anorexia, very bony and his face of horror. For me the best version is that of 2013, made by Chloë Grace Moretz, it's much more real, the girl is beautiful and doesn't look as fictitious as the others. What's more, the whole movie itself seems like a joke, especially the way the bucket falls on Tommy's head and besides, Carrie NEVER looked up and if she had, she would have avoided that tragedy and killed those who were doing such wrongdoing, this whole movie is a real joke, IMHO!

I liked this interpretation. I realize in the book Carrie is very aware of what she's doing. But here she snaps...she's in her own world and everything her mind does is only for her survival.

In Picard the road is called Ross Blvd. After you pass the playing field in Glanvillia and you make the turn onto the road by the sea, it's called Michael Douglas Blvd. Once you enter Portsmouth and reach Borrough's Square (where all the buses are lined up) you've reached Bay Street.

It's not that they forget, I think they just take some artistic licensing and do there own thing. I will say, I like that she doesn't run away. Though in the book, her running away was a little more sadistic because she came back to kill.

this was kind of over the top with the blood, i'm excited for the 2013 remake with chloe moretz, this film was kind of cheezy but it sticks more to the novel than the original.

I don't have the rest of the movie, but I'm pretty sure they made a DVD.

I've been meaning to do a side-by-side comparison/review of both the 1976 verson of Carrie and this version. I just can't find this version on youtube.

omg, that's soo cool how ppl are singing the background music, and it's really in tune! It just gets a little too loud sometimes. And for the main singer, you need to connect the words a little more, there are too many breaks. But the sound is AWESOME! SING ON!
