Twenty five years ago I built this exact same version of this plane using the Eduard kit and an aftermarket decal set. The existing plane, one of only a handful left in the world, is on display at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. I have seen it in person 30 + years ago. I bought a book there published by the museum on the restoration of this plane, with a mind towards building a model of it some day.That museum is unbelievable and the space section has the full prototype progression of space suits etc.

Hi really nice but the T/Buckle comments are correct and does distract which is a shame because it's a good model. There's some really nasty comments in here, take it from me and block these guys and remove their comments as they won't leave you alone and it's off putting to new viewers. Click on the thee dots and remove from channel. Also it is essential to put tags in your videos otherwise they won't come up on searches, you need to pin a viewers comment each video and add chapters these will help with UA-cam prmoting your video. The 1st 30 secs of every video are cruicial to maintain interest if you can get higher than 70% retention the video is a hit. It is exetremly hard to achieve that. People don't want to waste time watching a video to be let down at the end so show the finished model briefly in teaser shots, so they know it is worth their while watching add some taster clips of what is coming in the video have a look at Plasmo, mine to grab some ideas. Tags are entered into the box on your "Video Details" page at the bottom where it says show more. Take it easy it isn't as easy as people think and they have no idea what a lot of effort goes into making videos - keep going. The cable tensioners are always big and big at 1/48th. It’s beautiful, but perfect for 1/24nd !...
