Welcome to my channel! I'll be taking you along on a 90 day trip across Japan, so hit subscribe to join me on my journey ✈️
There are also some options on the table, I think they will ask which one you want to stamp?
Really informative while straightforward, thanks a lot
Can i buy this book before my trip on amazon, and are there any criteria it has to meet?
If you're willing to pay 2-3x the normal price, yes, there are a few on Amazon. You'll want to double check that it's the right size (usually B6) and that it has relatively heavyweight paper, as the brush ink will bleed through normal pages. Honestly, I'd recommend just visiting a LOFT or Hands once you get to Japan!
I don't know why this is complicated its just a theme park
So every card me and me group puts onto what website gets denied no matter if we approve of it or let our banks know it's not fraud it will NOT work no matter what can anyone help me please
so if I'm going this november i can't book tickets anymore?
Nvm they go on same sept 10th, i watched this just in time 😭 it's still a little confusing
Does anyone know if you need to purchase multiple tickets for these or is premium ticket the only thing you need
I don’t understand how and from where can I get ”my Page login” with 4 numbers? Can someone help me
Thank you so much for making this video! the most awesome and useful part of the video was the "use as many devices as you can " when doing the queue. I used 6 devices and all of them had different numbers in the queue, the max was 14,000 and the lowest was 5,000 it was in this one (a PC) that we were able to buy the tickets in the date and time we needed ♥ ♥♥Thank you :3
You saved me last night! A perfect quide! I’m so thankful!
HI! My gosh, cannot express how thankful I am! Thanks to your video I've been able to buy them, I've followed all your steps (a lot of papers with all the info at my desk right now xDD) I had my laptop, the tablet and my mobile (finally that was the choosen one) and I was 4th at queue and my hands were shaking because I was freaking out. Now I can go to work happy and relaxed till the next tickets reservation (Ghibli museum, kirby cafe...), just let me say THANK YOU a lot, have a nice day and kind regards from Catalonia xoxo
It took me 4 hours and 2 calls to my bank but I finally got the tickets
Thank you for this video. I had no idea! We're headed to Tokyo in October. I'm a bookbinder and would love to make my own book. Can you tell me the weight of the paper and how many pages? I'm assuming it's thick due to the inks used so they don't bleed through. I was thinking of using smooth watercolor paper.
What is a ghibli character name sheeta?
If we have a large backpack with clothes, etc...is that allowed in?
I'm a few months late to this - where did you get the hikan inari shrine goshuin, please? I don't see an office there - was it part of the nearby asakusa shrine too or available from their office?
Yes, it shares the shrine office here with Asakusa Shrine: maps.app.goo.gl/bLepFcoVwVphggXE9 Hope the direct link helps!
That's is crazy no way I'd bother with all this nonsense 😂
Thanks a lot
6 hours to go. Pleeeeease don’t let me mess this up!! Update: I came overly prepared with three devices and got premium passes with little to no issue.
Fingers crossed!
I'm planning to buy 4 tickets. Do I need to provide a Japanese phone number to purchase 4 tickets?
Great video. On the website, what is the Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass. Does that pass just let you in the area? Do you still need to get timed entry tickets to enter the buildings in that area?
When will you be uploading new videos? We all want to see your journey!
Wow thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! I just bought my tickets and was able to get the exact day and time I wanted. I only had to wait 15min in the queue 😊 Just one update since you released this video, now you can only purchase tickets 2 months in advance (not 3). And one thing that got me confused, for the address field it took me a while to realize that I should’ve typed without any commas or dashes.
What happens if you are not staying in Nagoya but a day trip from Tokyo !? Could I use that hotel instead !?
You can, but I'd truly recommend staying over in Nagoya if you're planning to spend the full day at Ghibli Park. I was completely wiped at the end of my visit: I can't imagine adding 5 hours of train travel to the day would improve things!
suzi, did you collect goshuin from temples and shrines in the same book? I have read a few places they should be kept in separate books, and if not, some places will refuse.
Great question! I've also heard that this is sometimes practiced by goshuin collectors, but I've never had it come up - and I've received something like 200+ goshuin by now! I can't rule it out entirely, but I wouldn't worry too much. It's also the case that, post-pandemic, something like 80% of the shrines and temples I've visited have given me kakioki (the separately prepared goshuin pages that you'll glue in on your own) so most offices won't be looking at the goshuin you previously received anyway.
Many thanks for this video, just a quick question: what should you enter in box 4 (when purchasing adults or children please enter identification number on your disability certificate). Do I have to enter the passport numbers of my husband and my daughter as well as their names?
I bought premium access but at 2PM. At site said that 2PM is only for grand warehouse only. So we could see the other park before 2PM for example in the morning?
Great video. I'm planning to pick up a goshuincho in Sakura Jingu Shrine and start to collect them. Unfortunately missed on my opportunity on my last 5-week trip so I might need to come back to those places :D I'll also start collecting eki stamps but ordered a nice eki stamp book on Amazon
That's a great idea! I've seen a few color variations on the goshuincho from Sakura Jingu, so I'd be interested to hear which one you end up with!
I'm going next week can't i purchase it now?💔
found this video the evening before and I couldn't be more grateful to you! it was a breeze, secured my preferred date and time slot instantly! couldn't recommend the multiple devices tip more, laptop took an hour to go through and my phone when through instantly when the tickets dropped!! thank you again, so so much <3
super super useful! i followed the advice and got the tickets on the day and time we wanted. things have updated for this for 2024, more time slots are available, but info is still valid. practice ahead of time to see the process. make sure credit card company doesn't block u for fraud alert. good luck!
Hi! Have you been there already? I want to book tickets for September but they're not available yet so I'm checking videos to know what to expect. It seems like now you only get an assigned time slot for the warehouse as it says on their website "You can enter all five areas with this pass. This pass will only have an assigned entrance time for Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse". If that's true, it makes things much easier. I like to walk around an explore without the added stress of "I have to be there at X hour and then there at Y hour" 😅 The process to buy the ticket also seems to be more foreigner friendly this year.. idk if that's true as I haven't got the chance to do it yet, but it seems like it was way more complicated until recently.
this was super helpful! thank you for making this video! i was able to get our tickets!!!! i had 2 computers, an ipad, and my phone. my phone was the one that won the tickets!!!
Heya there! Thanks for the video, really informative. I've got a question that I've tried finding everywhere but couldn't seem to get a good answer to: Do we need to create a Lawson member account to book these tickets? I'm trying to register for an account beforehand but it seems like they want a name in Kanji with a Japanese number and address. Or is it not necessary? I.e. we can just get in the queue and purchase as per your video without needing to create any accounts Thank you in advance for your help!
This is too complicated! Brain is sad.
Same
Thank you for this very informative and concise video! I am just wondering about the "group leader" passport... how about if I am to enter the park alone? or do they allow only people who come in groups?
I woke up about 6 hours after the the sale and somehow managed to get some of the last tickets for the date we needed! Thank you for the schedule , so useful but I’m still figuring out how to fit in the new valley of the witches (going on the day it opens)
please can you make an updated video for the Valley of Witches? what would my day look like?
do you mean you DONT recommend a weekend or holiday?
So if you want to go to all of the attractions, do you have to buy tickets for each part of the park? Or is it a 'one ticket for everything' kind of thing?
I just tried today exactly at Japan time however when I went thought, it didn’t load the calendar for me. It read as “error” I was so sad bc I was #42 in queue. Turns out it’s bc google chrome sucks and now I’m on safari but my tickets are sold out… Note: im on safari and tried to get a different ticket but when I get to the payment selection, it won’t let me click on “credit card” (it was stuck on pay pay) so I couldn't even check out... Sad day
Very useful and detailed video, thank you for sharing, a few hour ago I bought my tickets. For anyone wondering, you can use your own personal phone number, I’ve used my Mexican phone number and it worked as normal you don’t need a Japanese phone don’t worry. The Japan Address can be the place you’re staying, I used the address from my Airbnb booked near the park, it doesn’t go trough any verification so it doesn’t have to be 100% specific, I was worried about the format but it’s kind of a free format adress so I pasted as it is on the Airbnb info. And last, I did not have any problem with my card, I used a Travel Visa credit card, during the payment the site opens your bank page and they send a verification code and that’s it :) Good luck everyone! 🎉❤
Thank you so much for the video!! I managed to get tickets for Ghibli Park in March and couldn't be happier <3
Me too! but I'm having trouble finding the Qr. Did you get it?
Me too! But it only for Ghibli Museum(Tokyo), does it mean that it is for each area?
Omg you saved my bacon. I leave for Tokyo on Saturday and stumbled on your video. I managed to book tickets to Ghibli park but didn’t print them out! When you mentioned you needed a QR code per person per region of the park, I checked and found out I didn’t print them. Thank you for saving my vacation!
Hi! you mentioned in the video that tickets go on sale 3 months in advance. I am going in April 2024, however when i checked the international ticketing website, only March will be on sale on 10th Jan 24. Did they change the system to two months in advance instead of three? Thank you for your tips!
Also, could you show how to purchase the "Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium"?
im also interested
There is also going to be another area called the valley of Witches? Where would you suggest adding that in the schedule? I'm planning to visit in April
noooo why they planned to close february and march 2024? i want to die
I'm just guessing, but may be because the new area? 🤷♀️
@@dangoqueen3601 never lucky in my life, thanks
This place the THE WORST ticket system of any theme park I’ve ever been to. Even worse than their museum and that’s BAD.
ghibli park will be closed for the dates im there , very sad. Doesnt open back up till march 16th, thats when i fly back home
same ... i wanna die
me too 💔 sooo sad
