Hi, your lot calculation method is good for the USD as the Base currency for the account but when you want to use EUR or GBP or any other currency the EA will still use the same lot size which is where the risk amount will deviate from the input risk (1%) amount specified. How can you resolve this issue so you can have different base currency accounts which are adjusted for to ensure 1% risk is linear across those accounts?

Can I ask some newbie question? What type of data we Input when we are setting the Period? How does this define EA's work? There are 21 time periods in MT5. But how does this relate to EA work? By setting, for example, Period 21? Does this mean that the EA uses all time frames? Because I can also set Period 30 and the results are different in backtests, so I'm not sure anymore if it has to do with period m1 m2 ....H1.... D1 etc.

The reason you can't go to the definition of variables, or you have to switch to the main file to compile the project is that you didn't open the .mqproj file of the project. double click it and it will solve the problem.

Dear Toby, I've seen all five pattern recognition videos. That makes me wonder if you could explain in a future video what you are heading for? For example, where will the "right" patterns come from? Or else: what are the "right" patterns? Is it sometimes the case that you are still going to make software to discover profitable patterns? By the way, that would be very nice, and you would help us in the direction of AI. Or will that be the next project ;-).

Thanks for this nice series of videos using pattern comparison. I think you certainly strike a chord with many and fill a need. Personally, I really appreciate that you take on a difficult part like pattern recognition. However, after 9 min and 30 sec it becomes with programming such as : and ? very complicated/confusing as you pointed out yourself in the video. I know you've used that before in range breakout EA, but it's starting to look a bit like Egyptian hieroglyphics. You are a very good cenceptual thinker when you understand such a complicated code!. I have a request to describe it less compactly and to simplify it a bit by two If-statements where, for example, in one a positive correlation is marked by a green line and in the other If-statement a negative correlation is marked by a red line? Then the difference is immediately clear in the chart as well. And two If-statements fort the normal and mirrored pattern as well.

Dear Toby, thank you for your entertaining videos! Nice improvements to the somewhat compact code of the original breakout expert advisor. Adding the end time to the pending orders has both an advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage is that the order has all the handling information in case the connection to a server fails. The disadvantage is that in the book of the market it can be seen in advance by, for example, the broker when the trade is going to be closed.

I think it is important to match pattern in strong markets to get good results , thank you to share such nice coding tut.
