Thanks for suggesting Drops yarn. I see several UA-cam knitters using Drops. I recently made a purchase from Linde Hobbi during their Drops sale and bought enough wool to knit a couple of crop cardigans. The colors i picked are beautiful. I can only purchase affordable yarn and this foots the bill beautifully. It only took around 10 days to receive my yarn from Denmark, and the shipping costs were minimal. I always love watching your sewing and knitting videos, I also follow you on Instagram 😊❤

I’m not familiar with the reasons for your move, so I will just say it is always nice when you finally feel settled in a new place and have the chance to reclaim your life back from unpacking, sorting, resorting and that general sense of exhaustion that is part and parcel of relocating. Hi Lisa! Your desire to preserve vintage fabrics and clothing is truly admirable. I have a question, though, about vintage fabrics/clothing in general and your vintage pink dress in particular. When an article of clothing is so old and there are a number of tears and holes, do you ever find that the fabric has degraded to the point that it is counterproductive to repair it?

Loving your channel. I was born in 1955 and I remember my Mum wearing the small waist,full skirt style. She used to make her own dresses and she left me with a love of dress-making.

Your blouse fits beautifully and looks wonderful on you. I'm looking forward to seeing it worn with the trousers and vest. Where do you get your interfacing from that you use as tracing paper. This is such a good idea but are you able to see the pattern you are tracing through it and is it difficult to draw on as some interfacings can be toothy.

the blouse turned out beautifully....i wish i could sizes closer to my body in vintage...i love this look so will look into repro...the joint is the a/c joint- acromioclavicular joint...it the acromion process of the scapula and the clavicle meeting...i have bursitis..learned area fast lol

Thank you for sharing. I recently discovered your UA-cam videos. I watched your explanation on adjusting a bust dart and it was the best explanation I have ever hear. I am looking forward to your content whenever on UA-cam. This video is one of m y favorites.

As a teenager I read Jane Eyre and Rebecca, I couldn't make heads or tails of it. Hearing your explanation is very enlightening - but I won't read them again. But if I see a Rebecca movie DVD at the goodwill I will pick it up.

My dad also read all the books, we visited Thirsk when I was around 10 (37 years ago!😲) it's the only place we went to together that neither of us wanted to leave. We both loved to visit places but we're always happy to come home but we both would have happily moved there.

Now I'm going to have to find the books. Lovely post Lisa I hope the new season of ACGS comes to Australia, I'll go check the ABC.... Nope not there, maybe I should get a VPN!

Thank you for a wonderful video. I love 1930s 1940s style and "The all seasons" dress by Now & Then is my current WIP. ( would 100% recommend) I shall be making more by them too. I also have made the smooth sailing blouse! I'm so happy All Creatures is back on our TV too!
