You're supposed to enter the IP Address found @ Settings » About » Network » Wi-Fi or USB » IPv4 in the Device Hostnames/IPs field.

Thanks for this useful information, I don't know the exact issues with my BBZ30 I have used this method on average every month but right now the final stage of the update not stable to input password it's just blinking. I will appreciate any help to resolve this

Saw a few comments where people are facing problem with their IP connection (had the same issue) stating that the site cant be reached, after typing the IP to the playbook. Don't forget to open (on your phone) BlackBerry settings > network > wifi > IPv4 and copy THAT IP address stated there to the playbook and than click LOG IN. DO NOT COPY IP ADDRESS FROM THIS VIDEO, it is just an example, your IP would be probably different.
