Just for clarification, this is not a straight pipe. It is a cat back exhaust. Straight pipe means removing mufflers, resonators, and the catalytic converters. Cat back exhaust means muffler and resonator delete.

No, the newer one simulate shifts. I have a 2019 and it simulates A8 speed transmission.
@@kskip4242correct, i had a 2014 with CVT and when you set on Ds, it simulates an automatic transmission... 9 speeds I counted.....
When I use my paddle shifters on mine it only goes to 8

Don’t get me wrong .. it’s sounds nice af and looks good btw. But for this particular car the speed/Sound ratio doesn’t add up 😭🥴 unless you modify it. But there’s only so much u can do to a 2.5 L engine without blowing it up . Could do an engine swap but atp you’d be better off getting a new faster car 😅 Ps. This is coming from an Altima owner himself 🛠💪🏽

I got the same thing done on my 09 but yours still sounds deeper. You got a tune or anything? I just don't have the tips and I doubt that's why it sounds different

@@shaner1153 Yeah, I tend to steer away from trying to model my exhaust systems from UA-cam videos. It never turns out right. And I spent way too much money finding out the hard way lol. Every car is slighty different even if its set up the same. I've been wanting to try this kind of set up on my Altima but I am scared because I know damn well it's not going to sound the same 😆
