16 June 2023 We headed down to Rocky bay where we fished the night with only small fish,We then came back to Winkelspruit at first sunlight,I tried fishing with a silver spoon with no luck.Sharky and Sumesh enjoyed putting a bait out for shad which I had no interest in.nets were pulled out with sardines at Winkelspruit.We tried for shark but we couldn't get a bite. Hi Vijay thanks for watching.It was Salmon drive but we didn't turn right towards the ski boat club,we turned left but very limited parking.When someone does buy the property that we parked by then they wont be any parking.tc

I left KZN mid South Coast and moved to Cape Town 24 years ago for work reasons and have now retired there. Fresh sardines out of the sea into the pot, man I miss that. There are so many ways to prepare it and the distinct aroma is something one only gets this time of the year around. I am really thinking of flying up there.

Everyone fishing there with coffee grinder /spin reels. In the 1960's the main fishermen used Scarborough reels and would have laughed at your coffee grinder.

Howzit Sash It's a pity you couldn't get down to Poenskop. However , Must admit The Tranquility is luxury compared to the chalets at Hole in the Wall . More memories. As you get around the bend to Aggets Terrace I don't know if the shop on the left hand side is still open. The very first KP reels were made there. You guys are really on a mission. Enjoy the experience spending time on the Transkei wild coast. I would love to do it all over again. Take care guys
