Will say that I have a 2006 Colorado with the 3.5 Z71 and it goes through almost anything and I take that through mud holes with highway tires on 😂

I got an 05 2wd 5 speed z71 with the 4 cylinder and it does well off road if you use 2nd gear and momentum. I jumped a creek one time it was awesome
Are this trucks good ?
I just bought me one and it's still a good truck can keep up with some of the trucks today and just wish it had more towing power

What comes standard on a 2009 Chevrolet Colorado LT1 3.7L 4wd extended cab torsion bar 3.73 and G80 locker? When I paid off my truck the paper said LT Z71 4WD but the rpo sticker says Z85. On autocheck it says LT Z71/LT Z85/WT.
From what i gather, the z71 has the “offroad” coilover suspension in the front. Torsion bars no? Im not sure
4wd is great until you put it in a ditch like I did

Dedicated Snow: General Grabber Arctic All Terrain No Snow: BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 All Terrain With Snow: Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S Mud Terrain id go with Toyo Open Country MTs, don't know if they're available in that size. I use the Generals in the winter and the BFGs in the other seasons on my Colorado, My dad uses the Coopers all year around on his Silverado, which use to be my daily.

@@danielmcdaniels295 Id go with ko2s over or the grabber atx. If there's a significant price difference maybe go with the cheaper one. Ko2s look better for mud but the grabbers look better for rocks but I don't really know bout that one tbh

The bulk of the 3.7's power comes oddly above 4,000 rpm so mashing the gas pedal is frequently the way to solve problems in one of those. Never hit a challenge slowly.
