Sourdough Pretzels
In this episode join Amy in the kitchen while she makes sourdough pretzels. Let us know if you try this recipe. Making It Work is about taking what you have and figuring out how to "make it work" for what you need. We work in the shop, in the kitchen and in the carport making and creating the things we need. We do a lot of DIY projects including soaps, sourdough and grain free foods, campers, painting floors, jigs, screen doors, woodworking and metal working.

We all really liked them though. Making It Work is about taking what you have and ...

    Great Job sir! I think I will give it a go and make it a bit shorter as you suggested. One question I have is where do you store the poles, rope, etc. when it's not being used? Is the any type of pole storage incorporated at all? Thanks

    • @MakingItWork
      @MakingItWork 27 днів тому

      Thanks so much for watching! We just put the poles in the back of the truck. I wonder if you could make clips to go on it somehow. If you come up with something please let us know.

    You stated that the big PVC was 3" and then later 4" and I am guessing it is 4". I plan to build similar for 3 slide out toppers with actual awning fabric. I paid like 10 bucks for a set of Dometic bracket arms that attach to the outside of the slide-out and hopefully I can adapt the PVC in between the two arms. I'm definitely not spending 2k but more like 300. Cheers!

    Why you got the swivel on one end when you don’t need it

    • @MakingItWork
      @MakingItWork 3 місяці тому

      The swivel was for operating it with a hand crank. Otherwise you can use a drill. We took ideas that people gave us here and modified some things since the original build.

    How long is the tarp when it’s pulled out and is that a 6 inch pipe that is in

    • @MakingItWork
      @MakingItWork 3 місяці тому

      It’s however long you want to make it. It’s been a while but I think it’s a 4 inch pipe. Check the Awning 2.0 video. We waterproofed a sheet instead of the tarp and it may be in a smaller pipe now.

    • @louissilva4180

    Great job on thus jig. Can you explain the measurements when needing to make like an 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 frame? Whwn do we make the rabbit and where would our starting point be?

    • @MakingItWork
      @MakingItWork 10 місяців тому

      That is really hard to say because there are so many ways it can be done. What I do is measure the height and width and to measurements would be the center of the frame boards so your cut would cross that midline in the center. The best way is to get some scraps and practice. Then i would cut a dado on the under and in side so that the picture would be inset a little.
