Looks like the base of the grinding machine was made by MZOR in Belarus. Is the horizontal grinding spindle a hydrostatic one? I know that there were some Soviet and Romanian heavy-duty grinding spindles which had hydrostatic bearings.

What about this chinese low cost lathes? How do they perform?

Just a FYI if anyone is interested Whechone from South Korea bought the rights to build this machine years ago and they are still making them a lot of the Mori crew went to Korea to build them and for the last 5 to 10 years of Mori Sekie Whechone was building them for Mori, one of the best manual lathes ever made.

for the first time, our company ((Sarve Khorasan Trading Group)) bought from SMTCL factory 40 years ago. and these machine are working in Iran , BCS, they are very high quality.

On My commercial fishing vessel I have large vertically mounted water pumps. to keep them from rusting horribly I fill the recesses in the body with toilet bowl wax mixed with paraffin. it is soft enough to dig out if necessary but firm enough not to collect dirt and stuff and bounds well to the painted steel and prevents water from sitting and causing rust and bad odors.

Хороший аппарат, но слабенький и с жесткостью проблемы. Зато точный. Имеем такой, только уже от ретоса. Ещё двух тыся часов не наработано, а он уже вскрывался хз сколько раз. Сейчас, например, пропали подачи при работе с планшайбой, и чего дела, хз. Даже не може разобраться откуда идет момент на коробку подач. А так норм, стоит уци ханденхайн, вот это вообще песня, без него смысла от станка нет вообще. Только если дрова на нем рубить.
