How to Make a Stuffed Dog Toy
Hello! In this video i'll show you how i made a stuffed dog toy, it's easy to make and dogs love it!
Just make sure to use a durable fabric (natural fibers are better) and that the dog doesn't break the toy and eat the stuffing, because it could be dangerous.
I always make sure to monitor the dogs when they play with stuffed toys for extra safety!

    Where do you get patterns like this? I have never made a hat before, but I wanted to give it a try, so I know absolutely nothing about anything. When it comes to getting fabric or patterns I don't know where you get them, and if I want to make my own I don't know where to do that or how to get started. Do you have any recommendations??

    • @albertoaisu
      @albertoaisu Місяць тому

      I traced the pattern from i hat i had, it’s easy to do, you can just use something soft like tissue paper, pin it on each panel, trace the seams with a pencil and add the seam allowance..or if you prefer ready made patterns you can find some online, especially on etsy!

    So what type of needle and thread are you using for this?

      Oh sorry, 90 and 100 are needle sizes, at least for industrial sewing machines, something like needles advertised to sew denim or thicker fabrics…And for thread i buy these big cones of polyester thread, they’re pretty standard, you can find different brands but they’re all pretty much the same..Just sewing machine thread spools..

    Thank you so much for showing this! I'm attempting a chemise that requires pintucks, but doing it by hand. Can you pin or baste the tucks in place after ironing them, so they don't move around as you sew? Hand sewing is much slower than machine, and I don't want the tucks to come undone.

    • @albertoaisu
      @albertoaisu 11 місяців тому

      Thank you! I’m happy i could help!!Of course you can, although it will be a lot of work especially if you have a lot of pintucks! If you’re worried about them coming undone around the edges, maybe you could try a stay stitch?Like you would do around a collar to avoid stretching…Otherwise you could cut the same piece in tissue paper and baste stitch them together, it’s very helpful especially if you are working with silk or fine fabric!
