I watched MLP when i was like 6 years old, i used to get really in the fandom and the thing that always got me in the mood in little hard days would be listening to MLP songs, and this was one of them, the song is super catchy and it still is to this day, and way before, i didnt understand the lyrics, at all, i thought they were happy and silly, but now that im older i finally understand what most of these lyrics say, and i must admit i feel sad about pinkie pie, how most of her world got destroyed yet she is still hiding that pain under that smile she has, just to distract herself from the pain and agony she had to live through when she was just little, gosh, i never realized what fucked up stuff i used to listen to as a kid.

for those of you who still want to sing the song but dont want to use the "G" word, i personally like singing "listen to the jingle jangle of my Kitschy tambourine". kitschy as a word means an aesthetic that "looks ugly" and is overly sentimental, like a grandmas collection of weird dolls and strange ornaments. usually its used in a somewhat mean way, but it describes a specific kind of decor that is incredibly self indulgent and means a lot to who ever is collecting said stuff. i feel like that specific vibes fits this song a lot. like yeah people thing what i collect is weird but i hold it near and dear to my heart and im willing to share that joy with others! its not perfect because the Alliteration is gone but i think it works pretty well.
