Late season gun hunt
I headed out to a piece of public hoping to have one more opportunity at a shooter buck before it gets too late in the season. Although I love chasing bucks, I also love shooting does and eating venison, and just couldn't pass up the opportunity to fill my freezer with some quality/organic meat. This video is quick, as was the weekend hunting. I ended up hunting the next morning and it was very uneventful. The later in the season, the harder it gets for me to get on deer, from here on out I will be taking advantage of every opportunity I get. More videos of meat processing and venison recipes to come!

Brother did you spend more money on that tan target than your sight?
100% that target cost 5x his sight . But what’s it matter? Dude is obviously stacking them at 50yards and will be able to stick a deer no problem.
I’ve searched for a two finger attachment. Couldn’t find one. Are you just shooting it without any attachment?
@@brandonfourroux1552 Ya, this model is super customizable. It comes with the option to shoot either a 2, 3, or 4 finger attachment.
@ that’s crazy. I have the onnex thumb. I looked into to getting the onnex clicker, but even on there website it says it only comes with 3 and 4 finger attachments
He is shooting without the 3 or 4 finger attachment (no attachments, just bare release). I actually shoot without any attachment as well and find the release to feel extremely comfortable and sleek.

Yeah you want you’re arrows basically touching each other. Make slight adjustments to your sight if needed. There’s some room for error there still.

What took you so long to get the second arrow ready, people like you are why I find so many dead deer in my woods during bow season. There's no way you shouldn't have been able to find that deer.

I hunt a lot of different public up in the thumb. Kind of just bounce around from place to place. I enjoy scouting new spots and trying to figure them out

You're young.You handled yourself well under pressure that is good. But the lack of getting a tracking dog and working harder to find the dead doe Shows a lack of immaturity. Which we all learn lessons as we grow up so no harm. Great shot placement on the buck And you're learning to have an afterplan set up better. Things you learn over the years. Congrats

Ya, the arrow hit a branch and deflected and hit her in the spine. You can see it in the video. I didn’t get any penetration at all, just the broadhead and half the collar penetrated.

Need to quit worrying about that damn camera and focus on making a better shot instead of worrying about getting the "money shot". And if you can afford that camera equipment, you could afford $150 for a tracking dog. That doe is dead somewhere

Apply a coat of gun oil on any surfaces you cleaned with a solvent. Solvent is corrosive and oil neutralizes it.
