i've watched haikyuu numerous times in both subbed and dubbed and honestly both do an amazing job! however i have to say i much prefer tanaka, oikawa, bokuto, nishinoya and kenma's voices in eng dubbed whereas i think tsukishima, kuroo, and ushijima sound better in subbed although either way i love the character so much in both 💕💕

Remember Bong joon ho once said "once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films" XD original and authenticity is there in subtitles as the voice is from specialized voice actors of Japanese language speaking specialized script written in Japanese language by a Japanese writer, describing a Japanese story of Japanese players and yea some foreigners in their perspective. i dont know why people hate dub so much for me its easier to understand i dont have to read everytime and yes dont tell me that their voice matches their personality and all those complicated stuff first of all you dont understand the language how the hell can you tell that. i dont hate sub i too watch sub sometime s but why the heck does everyone goes like attacking mode on dub

my two favourite characters are nishinoya and oikawa but the thing is i love nishinoya's sub voice but i love oikawa's dub voice so i dont know whether to watch it in sub or dub

This is one of those rare occasions where I GENUINELY believe the English dub is better. The voices fit them better, the lines are more suited to their characters, and just the general vibe is more fun. One of the biggest parts for me on this is Bokuto's voice, it just fits him perfectly, and cutting out the unnecessary curse at Kenma is nice. (Nothing against cursing, I do so myself, but it just wasn't needed, and was borderline rude)

That's why I prefer subs😂. Death note is an exception tho

I suggest starting with sub and rewatching in dub since season 4 is in only sub and you get to feel the story more. The dub makes you laugh and more comfortable so it’s a great thing to rewatch. This is just my opinion though. Watch Haikyu! however you want. :D
