The purpose of this channel is to express our talent and creativity in various interests such as cooking, grilling/smoking, art, painting, wood working, photography, repurposing furniture, DIY, farmhouse design décor, or just whatever strikes our wild imaginations! Sometimes that may be crazy and entertaining. We love the mountains, the beach, and calling North Carolina our home. Oh, and we believe there is a Bigfoot/Sasquatch! We dance in the kitchen and enjoy all music, from Bluegrass to Blues, from Contemporary Christian to Classic Rock, from Country to Prince (one & only), and most anything in between. We have two beautiful, smart daughters and now two wonderful son-n-laws too. Yes, we’re empty nesters with an old dog and two adopted cats. Hunting, fishing, hiking, antiquing, primitives, junk collecting, auctions, estates sales and picking are some of our favorite things to do. However, our best past-time is simple porch sitting. We love our family, friends, Bible, and JESUS!
BEER BREAD! Hold your beer and watch this, y’all!
Is there anything better than the smell of fresh baked bread? This is so easy and versatile. It’s going to be your new go-to!

I recently purchased these cute half-moon tables for someone special in mind. I knew she was looking for a pair of small wood porch tables… but, will they work? You just might recognize this popular lady at the video end! "Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadows. It's what the sunflowers do" (Helen Keller).

Quick Granny Cobbler
Переглядів 833 роки тому
This is so easy that I’m almost ashamed to post it! If you’re like me, I prefer the bread over the fruit of a cobbler. Lol. This is just the right size but if you’re feeding a crowd or taking to a summer cook-out, you may want to double this recipe. And for Heaven’s sake, please don’t forget to top with vanilla ice cream! Blessings Y’all!

Great vid and an even cooler accent. Love it. :)
Crazy I hv to find 3 waterlines before I trench
I just can't believe this, all you people unquestionably believing in dowsing. Dowsing has never been shown to work under any labratory testing, it is complete B.S..
My God people still believe in dowsing. Go claim the James Randi challenge.
Do you have to cross perpendicular to the buried water line?
does this prove the earth is a sphere?
🤔
You're about 4 1/2 months to late for April Fools, folks
Nope wouldn’t tell a lie. Try it!
this is such horse shit, why did UA-cam get rid of the dislike button? this is so fucking stupid
So i had a friend bury a quarter in my yard. Then i took the wires and walked all over the yard from a grid i drew out on some drafting paper i bought at office depot. Not sure if any other kind of paper will work. Also used super small sharpie to draw the lines on the drafting paper. I used black, not sure if blue will work. Then i highlighted the lines with a yellow highlighter so it would be easy to assimilate as i progressed around the yard. It only took me three days to complete the process. I can tell you without a doubt that this is total bs just like this video.
That’s a good tale you spin, but the video is real. Lord knows we wouldn’t lie about it. Have a great day!
Does it work if its been raining a lot?
I suppose so. We did have someone tell us they had tried this in the rain and it worked for them.
Is he blind
Nope
Does the water have to be moving in the pipe for it to work? A open valve and water running?
Nope don’t think so
nail guns do exist.
whoah - is it just for metal pipes?
Nope, last year my excavator did the same thing across my back yard. We had to dig up the water line to find a leak. It worked. 1" black poly pipe.
Absolutely works! I found my water line within a minute! Thanks!
This works. To test I located: a buried sewer line that I knew its location, a garden hose on the surface and a pocket knife on the floor. It indicated the area I thought the buried water line runs. I have enough faith in the method to where the rods indicate. I used 16 gage galvenized wire 20 inches long with a 6 inch wire "handle". My wife did not have as much success. Guess you have to relax and believe.
“a shine’n” - definitely Arkansan accent.
Never been to Arkansas.
South Central Mississippi?
@@lofideltaguitars8484 Never been there either.
Does it work for pvc water pipes
Our are PVC, so would say yes.
@@deeme7461 wonderful. Thank you
❤
We tried this....marked where the wires crossed and dug 5ft....and NOTHING! Smh.... before digging i naked with the wires 6 times to be sure
Well dang, I’ve heard that soil minerals can also cause the wires to cross, but I cannot attest to that for sure. I hope you strike oil & make it rich! 👍🏼
I used to do this during parties at my place in the backyard. Most people didn't believe me and thought I was tricking them but they just didn't have the touch.
*Your* backyard eh? Any chance you already knew where things were?
What I really meant to say is that people didn't have the patience for an open mind.
Those caulking tools just smear the caulking all over the place. you are better off using your finger and a wet rag. After using that tool you have about an inch of caulking on the wall and ceiling that you will be able to see even if you paint over it.
That guy doesn't know how to paint.
That looked so easy and yummy! Thanks, Dee!
How do they rotate? I have seen this being practised in India as well.
As I understand, it’s done all over the world but I cannot really explain the science of the copper wires. There are a couple of comments on this post that did explain it better than I.
You’re full of beans
Whoa! Wait a minute! You have to dig right there and SHOW us the buried water line. If you can't SHOW the water line, then you just are waving coat hangers in the air.
The purpose was NOT to dig. It was there though. 👍🏼
@@deeme7461 we know the purpose is not to dig BUT that's how you prove your theory
Last year I needed to find my water line to trace out a leak. The excavator I hired does this all the time. He walked around with his rods and figured out some weird direction changes in the line and marked them, then he started digging. His marks were within a couple feet across the entire yard.
Finally someone sane around here!!
This works for any buried utility that has an electromagnetic current. Should have all other utilities marked prior to busting out the witching sticks
Next do a video on proper use of a ouija board.
🤩
💯
Those ribs looked mouthwatering delicious; thanks for the education on ribs, Brad! Hey Dee!!!👋
Thank you so much! They were as good as they looked!
That is a bunch of hogwash and a waste of my time.
Worked for us and others too! But I get it, your time is your time! Have a great day doing whatever you like to do! 🌞
What is the name of the blue piece underneath the electrical outlet?
Hi Tyler! It’s been a couple of years since we put up these walls and the majority were stains that I had mixed. Just underneath the blue outlet is a brown, but under the brown is Classic Grey.
Why not just put most of nails on the piece that tucks under instead of filling all them in
Need some music, but you did a magnificent job!!
Truth! I attempted to add music to the middle of the video several times, and could not get my editor app to comply! May be time for a new app. 👍🏼
With all the high technology witching for water is still the best way. It’s crazy but it works💦
