This type of knife, when stamped with the word "rostfrei," usually originates from a German-speaking country, such as Switzerland, or from Germany. Most of the knives originate from the German town of Solingen, and some vin...

Muchísimas gracias 😁
i LOVE that handle
Thank you very much for your comment.
Very cleaver and the best design I've seen so far on UA-cam, it suits perfectly to the knife with the straight angles. I will do something based on your model. Few questions: 17:52 you're not removing any material, just pushing the leather right ? What's the leather thickness, 1mm ? What's the drill bit diameter ? What's the ideal spacing for the holes ( I don't have tools for leather work ) ? I'm trying to figure out the sewing because it goes fast, is that the regular leather sewing with 2 needles ? And a stupid one, I guess wood glue cannot replace leather glue ? Merci
I forgot one other : why didn't you deep the whole piece into the water for molding ?
I really appreciate your comment. The leather thickness is 3mm. Drill thickness is 1,5 mm. Spacing for the holes 3-4 mm.I think you can use wood glue.
@@zo-lib4564 Are all leather pieces 3mm thick ? At 7:36 you show the little leather piece to the cam, it looks a different color and maybe a different thickness... which may explain why this technique is not working for me.
@@Stavroguine826 little leather piece is 2 mm thick.
Great work. I'm not thinking about leather sheath which is amazing. I'm talking abouth the video ;) Lots of work. Congratulation.

Thank you for your comment. Yes ,it was increase the effect of epoxy.
@@zo-lib4564 many thanks. I will follow your-work with interest👌👌👌
@@alanchappell414 I'm glad you enjoyed.
Do you have any idea on how to add a clip to an existing leather sheath? I have a dagger “boot knife” but it only has a belt loop and I wanted to put a clip for my boot onto it
Get on Google and type in knife clips several will pop up
Such precision on the build, and very beautiful results. Thanks for the video

That was very informative! I enjoyed that!
Thank you very much.
That sheath is quite unique, Great job.
Thank you very much.
Turned out nice,why no welt?
Thank you for your comment. Because the blade is thinner.
I get the no welt coz thin blade but the welt protects the stitching from being cut by the blade
@@lorneclose7312 to my weak mind a thin blade would be more likely to sever the threads than a thick bladed knife. But opinions vary.
